In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, the Demon Warrior was marked on the map by a samurai-helmet-like icon, and it spawned at random near one of seven demon portals. Night Rose had a fixed home at Demon’s Dojo, and Shogun X roamed the island. Those directions describe a season that ended on February 21, 2025 at 2 AM ET, so use them as a historical reference rather than a guide to the current island.

Check the season status first

Epic Games dates the end of Chapter 6 Season 1 to February 21, 2025, at 2 AM ET. The locations below come from the season’s official announcement, published December 1, 2024, and from a Polygon location guide dated December 3, 2024, which Arcader News republished. We did not confirm whether any of these encounters, or their map markers, appear in later seasons or in October 2026. If you are playing a current season, treat the names and positions below as background and look for the demon icons that the live map shows.

Where to find the Demon Warrior

The Demon Warrior is the most location-specific of the three demons, but its position was still random. The guide describes it as spawning “randomly(ish)” near one of seven demon portals.

How to spot it on the map

  1. Open the in-game world map during Chapter 6 Season 1.
  2. Look for the samurai-helmet-like icon. This is the Demon Warrior’s marker.
  3. Travel toward the marked area and check the portals nearby. The guide states that the encounter sits near one of seven portals, and it refers to a map image for their positions, but the written text does not name them.

What the encounter involves

The Demon Warrior fight includes two goons that share the encounter. The guide calls the Demon Warrior the easier of the island’s demon targets, which makes it the more practical choice for a player who wants a quick fight. The sources do not give a difficulty rating or a time to complete the fight.

Its role in Kendo’s story quest

For Kendo’s Chapter 6 Season 1 story quest, the guide says that damaging any demon counted toward the objective, including a Demon Warrior lackey. You did not need to defeat the Demon Warrior itself.

Where to find Night Rose

Night Rose is the only one of the three demons with a fixed location. According to the guide, she was always at Demon’s Dojo. Epic’s announcement describes her as stalking visitors to her domain. Eliminating her drops the Night Rose Medallion, which makes weapons reload themselves, a useful reward for a player who fights her in the same area repeatedly.

Where to find Shogun X

Shogun X is the season’s main demon boss, and it does not stay in one place. Epic’s Fortnite Team describes it as “a powerful demon warrior that rampages across the island gathering spirit energy.” The guide says Shogun X spawned at random, and its map marker changed during the season. It first appeared as a large oni-mask icon. When the Shogun Arena appeared, the marker became a red rift icon.

Defeating Shogun X awards the Wanderer Medallion, which grants infinite stamina and invisibility while sprinting. Epic’s December 1, 2024 announcement lists this reward for the season.

What you need to find them

You do not need extra hardware or a purchase to locate these encounters. The task is reading the in-game map and recognizing the marker for each demon. The sources do not mention a controller, accessory, or paid item for this task.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know the exact portal positions to find the Demon Warrior?

Not to start looking. The guide says the Demon Warrior appeared near one of seven portals, and it refers to a map image for their positions. The written text does not name the portals, so the samurai-helmet icon on the in-game map is the most reliable marker to follow.
