To see the reset time in your own timezone, open the Item Shop in Fortnite and select About Shop; the in-game display is the best guide for your local time.
How to check the reset time in your timezone
-
Open Fortnite and go to the Item Shop.
-
Select About Shop to see the shop timing for your timezone. Epic says the shop rotation time is displayed in each player’s unique timezone, rather than as one fixed local-clock time. Epic Games Support explains where to find the time; Epic described the timezone-specific display in its April 9, 2024 shop and Locker announcement.

Because local daylight-saving rules can change, a conversion from midnight UTC may not always match the same hour on your local clock. Use the time shown in Fortnite rather than relying on a memorized conversion.
Does every item leave when the shop resets?
Not necessarily. A daily shop refresh is not a promise that a particular cosmetic will remain available until that refresh or disappear at it. Epic has said planned rotation dates appear on individual item description pages, so check the date shown on the specific item you’re considering.

- Gift card must be redeemed at EpicGames.com/redeem. This gift card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly on a console device (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, etc.)
- If you play Fortnite experiences on a console device, you need to link your Epic Games account to your console account(s) so items purchased at Fortnite.com/item-shop appear across all of your linked accounts
- Requires internet connection, valid Epic account and prior acceptance of the terms
- Redemption: Online
Can you know what will appear next?
The official timing information confirms when the shop refreshes and how to check the time; it does not establish which items will be in a future rotation. The reset time alone cannot tell you whether a particular outfit, emote, or other cosmetic will return.

- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
