On PC, Arma Reforger downloads Workshop mods by default to %userprofile%DocumentsMy GamesArmaReforgeraddons. Console downloads do not have a user-changeable location, and Workbench projects use a separate folder.
Default Workshop mod folder on PC
Open File Explorer and enter %userprofile%DocumentsMy GamesArmaReforgeraddons in the address bar. This is the default location for mods downloaded through Arma Reforger’s Workshop. The path uses your Windows user profile, so the resolved folder varies by account. See Bohemia Interactive’s Workshop documentation.
Change the PC download location
The addonDownloadDir startup parameter changes where the game downloads addons. Downloads are placed in an addons subfolder inside the target directory. For the parameter’s syntax and related settings, consult Bohemia Interactive’s Startup Parameters documentation.
Download folder versus mod search folders
A mod’s download location is not necessarily the only place the game can load mods from. The game also searches profile/addons and <executableDir>/addons; the addonsDir parameter can supply additional search locations. The -profile parameter selects the profile directory, whose default mod-search location is Documents/My Games/ArmaReforger/profile/addons.

If a mod is missing from the default Workshop folder, check whether the game was launched with a custom addonDownloadDir, or whether a different profile is in use. A mod loaded from another search folder may not be in the default download directory.
Console storage
Bohemia Interactive’s Workshop documentation says the download location cannot be changed on consoles and states a total mod-storage limit of 25 GB. That figure is a console-wide total limit for mods, not a per-mod allowance; the documentation does not provide a model-by-model breakdown. See the official Workshop page.

Workbench projects use a separate folder
For mod development, Workbench’s default project directory is %userProfile%DocumentsMy GamesArmaReforgerWorkbenchaddons. This is distinct from the game’s default Workshop download folder. Bohemia Interactive explains the setup in its Mod Project Setup documentation.
Manage downloaded mods in the game
Use the Workshop’s Downloaded tab to manage downloaded mods. The official documentation also says that when a removed mod is synchronized, it is deleted locally.
