The Fist of Darkness is used most directly at the altar in the middle of the Dark Arena in the Second Sea, where carrying it summons Darkbeard. It has two other uses: the Secret Laboratory at Hot and Cold, where it advances the Cyborg puzzle, and a Slayer Skin unlock that community wiki pages describe but that you should confirm in game. The details below come from community-maintained Blox Fruits wiki pages updated in September 2026, not from official developer documentation, so mechanics and requirements may have changed with later updates.
Which use fits your goal
| Goal | Where to go | What the Fist does there | How firmly it is documented |
|---|---|---|---|
| Summon Darkbeard | Dark Arena altar, Second Sea (near Snow Mountain and Ice Castle) | Walking into the altar while carrying it spawns Darkbeard | Described on the item page and the Darkbeard page of the Blox Fruits Wiki |
| Progress the Cyborg puzzle | Secret Laboratory, Hot and Cold | Inserted into the raid capsule, which processes the Fist and moves the puzzle toward a Core Brain from Order | Described in the Cyborg puzzle guide on the Blox Fruits Wiki |
| Unlock the Slayer Skin | Darkbeard altar and the Graveyard Door | Listed as needing two Fists, one for each location, plus race requirements | Stated on the item page only; the specific race requirements were not confirmed for this guide |
Summoning Darkbeard at the Dark Arena
This is the use most players mean when they ask where the item goes. The steps are short, but the item is lost if you leave the game or die before you reach the altar, so plan the route first.
- Travel to the Second Sea.
- Head to the Dark Arena, the area near Snow Mountain and Ice Castle.
- Carry the Fist of Darkness into the Dark Arena and walk into the altar at its center.
The item page says this interaction is what spawns Darkbeard, and the Darkbeard page describes the same altar. Neither page gives a separate confirmation step, so if nothing happens, check that you are standing on the altar at the center of the arena rather than at its edge.
Advancing the Cyborg puzzle at Hot and Cold
The second use is progression rather than a boss fight. In the Secret Laboratory at Hot and Cold, insert the Fist of Darkness into the raid capsule. According to the Cyborg puzzle guide, this processes the item and lets you continue toward obtaining a Core Brain from Order. The guide describes this as one step in a longer sequence, so the Fist alone does not complete the puzzle.

Unlocking the Slayer Skin
The item page lists the Slayer Skin as a third use. According to that page, the unlock requires two Fists of Darkness: one for the Darkbeard altar and another for the Graveyard Door. It also lists race requirements. Those specific requirements were not verified for this article, so check them in game before you spend a Fist on this route. Because the Darkbeard step consumes one Fist, plan on collecting a second one before you start.
Handling rules: do not lose it

Where the Fist comes from
The item page lists two acquisition routes: Sea Beasts and chests. It reports a 2.5% Sea Beast drop chance, cited as Blox Fruits Wiki, 2026. That is a figure reported by the community wiki, not a rate published by the developers, and no method for how it was measured is given. The same page says chest availability depends on server age. That timing detail is also wiki-reported and has not been confirmed by official guidance, so do not rely on it when planning a specific session.
