Robbie is at the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab in far northeastern Hyrule. Look northeast of Katosa Aug Shrine, or follow the road from East Akkala Stable. If he or the lab interaction is unavailable, progress through the relevant Locked Mementos steps with Purah, then return to the lab.
Where to find Robbie
Travel to the Akkala region in the far northeast of Hyrule and head for the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. Katosa Aug Shrine is a nearby map reference: the lab is northeast of it. You can also use East Akkala Stable as a landmark and follow the road toward the lab. Thonky’s Robbie’s Research walkthrough and Zelda Dungeon’s lab reference identify the location and nearby landmarks.
How to start Robbie’s Research
The quest is tied to the Hateno lab story and your conversations with Purah. After showing Purah her picture, speak with her again to get the follow-up dialogue that leads into Robbie’s Research. If you have not reached that point, continue the relevant Locked Mementos steps first. Zelda Dungeon’s walkthrough describes the progression connection.
How to complete the blue-flame task
Robbie’s task is to bring blue flame to the furnace outside the lab. Take a torch and use the stone lanterns along the road as checkpoints: light them as you go, so you can relight the torch if the flame goes out. The route has enemies, and rain or running can extinguish the flame. Thonky’s walkthrough covers the flame route and its hazards.

What happens when the lab is lit
Once you light the furnace and complete the quest, Robbie gives you three Ancient Arrows. The lit lab also makes Ancient gear available through Cherry. Thonky’s quest walkthrough states the reward; Zelda Dungeon’s lab reference describes Cherry’s role.

- If you have shown Purah her picture, speak with her again and check for follow-up dialogue.
- Complete the applicable Locked Mementos steps, then return to the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab.
