Regigigas has the highest base-stat total among the six commonly grouped Regi Pokémon, at 670. But that does not make it the strongest in every battle. Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regieleki, and Regidrago each total 580 and specialize in different roles. The answer depends on whether you mean raw stats, a particular strength, or performance in a specific game and format.
Which Regi has the highest stats?
By base-stat total, Regigigas is the clear leader. Its stats add up to 670, compared with 580 each for Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regieleki, and Regidrago. These are base-stat totals, not a measure of who wins a battle: a Pokémon’s typing, ability, moves, role, and format can all matter.

Which Regi is strongest in a particular stat?
- Fastest: Regieleki, with 200 base Speed.
- Strongest physical defense: Regirock, with 200 base Defense.
- Strongest special defense: Regice, with 200 base Special Defense.
- Highest HP: Regidrago, with 200 base HP.
- Highest Attack and base-stat total: Regigigas, with 160 base Attack and 670 total.
Those specialties point to different jobs rather than a single all-purpose winner. Registeel is the more balanced defensive option in the cited Scarlet/Violet strategy analysis.

Which Regi is best competitively?
There is no format-independent competitive ranking established by these examples. The Pokémon Company’s guidance is that video-game strength depends on how a Pokémon is trained and on the challenge being faced; competitive comparisons also need a named game and format. A high stat total alone cannot establish which one is most useful on a given team.
Scarlet/Violet strategy entries illustrate the difference in roles: Smogon describes Regirock as a physically bulky Pokémon that can provide Stealth Rock support; its Registeel analysis describes a mixed wall and Stealth Rock setter; and its Regidrago analysis discusses Dragon Energy, amplified by Dragon’s Maw, as a late-game sweeping threat. These are role-specific assessments, not a head-to-head ranking of all six in one format.

To decide which Regi is strongest for a competitive team, start with the exact game and format, then consider the team’s needs, the Pokémon’s role, and relevant matchups. The official Pokémon Support guidance, updated January 30, 2026, makes the broader point that the best choice depends on the challenge.
