Locations below are area-level directions: tower and named room. They are not verified coordinates, so use the in-game map to confirm your route once you are inside the tower.

Because the placements for Stamin-Up, Jugger-Nog, Elemental Pop, Vulture Aid, and Death Perception come from secondary reporting rather than the official map guide, treat them as the best available area-level direction rather than confirmed positions.
Navigating the two towers
Reckoning is a highly vertical map across Tower One and Tower Two. The official guide describes holes in floors and ceilings, Aether Elevators, portals, and Anti-Grav Personnel Launchers used for traversal. Giving directions by compass alone is unreliable in this layout, so describe every location by tower and named area, then move through the in-game map to the room. The official early-round walkthrough is a general orientation to the map and does not cover every machine.

How perks are bought and kept
The official Black Ops 6 Zombies systems guide from Activision / Blizzard states: “Perks are purchased using Essence and have been designed to offer a wide variety of bonuses that suits your style of play, allowing you to choose the order and number you need.” The guide does not give a named author or publication date for that page.
- Collect Essence. Perk-a-Colas cost Essence.
- Travel to the machine area for the perk you want, using the tower and room labels in the table above.
- Buy the perk. Each new perk you purchase raises the Essence cost of the next one.
- Accept the downside of going down. Being downed can cost you perks, and how many you lose depends on how many you hold and how long you were down.
Der Wunderfizz is the one machine the official systems guide describes as offering the available perks in a single location, so it is the place to check when you want to see the full set at once.
What each base perk does
The official Black Ops 6 Zombies systems guide lists eight base effects. These are the built-in effects of each perk. Augments, covered below, are separate customizations.

The guide gives these effects as descriptions without drop odds or exact chance values for Elemental Pop’s Ammo Mod, so the table does not add any.
Newer perks on Reckoning
Three perks on Reckoning are not part of the eight base effects above. The Game Slayer guide (August 8, 2025) describes them in general terms. Its descriptions give no precise numbers.
Double Tap
Double Tap improves weapon fire rate. Its official machine location is T2 Android Assembly.

Vulture Aid
Vulture Aid increases useful drops such as ammo, Essence, or equipment. The reported location is T2 Sublevel 10.
Death Perception
Death Perception is the late-round option at Der Wunderfizz. The Game Slayer guide reports that it becomes available there after Round 25. That timing comes from secondary reporting, not from the official map guide, so confirm it in a live round before relying on it.

Augments
Augments are selectable customizations layered on top of a perk’s base effect, and they are separate from the eight base effects listed above. The official systems guide describes six Augments per perk, three Minor and three Major, and says you equip one of each type.

Choosing perks by goal
No single perk is the best pick for every run. Group them by what they do for you:
- Survivability: Jugger-Nog, Quick Revive, and PhD Flopper.
- Movement: Stamin-Up.
- Weapon handling or damage: Speed Cola, Deadshot Daiquiri, and Double Tap.
- Resources and utility: Elemental Pop, Vulture Aid, and Death Perception.
Pick from these groups according to your play style and the objective in front of you, since the order and number of perks you buy is left to you.
Checking placements before you play
The official Reckoning map guide is dated September 4, 2025, and The Game Slayer guide is dated August 8, 2025. Both predate any later balance or map updates, so a machine may have moved or a perk’s values may have changed. Confirm each location and effect in-game before relying on it, and treat the secondary-reported placements as the least certain part of this guide.
