Before you start: unlock the bedroom
Travel to the Haunted Floating Festival island through the Plaza portal or the Event tab. Puzzle 7 depends on Puzzle 6: continue the Haunted Key steps until the Haunted House bedroom door opens. The first book is beside a bookshelf near the back-left side of that bedroom.
Where each book goes
Each correctly shelved book reveals the next one. Follow this sequence:

1. Return the bat book to the front room
Pick up Boo! The Big Book of Bat Facts beside the bedroom bookshelf and place it on the animal book shelf in the front room. This reveals Frightening Flowers.
2. Put the flower book in the hallway
Take Frightening Flowers to the flower shelf in the hallway. The next book, The Chilling Cosmos, appears.

3. Shelve the cosmos book in storage
Carry The Chilling Cosmos to the space shelf in the storage room. This reveals Terrifying Tunes.
4. Return the music book to the bedroom
Place Terrifying Tunes on the music shelf in the bedroom. A Memory Orb appears nearby. The official event description summarizes the task as following a trail of spooky books and placing each on its correct shelf to uncover the Haunted Mansion’s hidden story. Official event announcement
