Yellow Brick Games’ debut game was still untitled when the studio released its first cinematic teaser. A March 27, 2024 report by Insider Gaming said the studio had scheduled an exclusive full reveal for April 2 on IGN.
What is Yellow Brick Games’ debut game?
At the time of the teaser, Yellow Brick Games described the project as a fantasy action-adventure and an “all-new IP.” The report did not give the game a title, so the announcement established the kind of game in development, not its name or a release plan.
What did the teaser show?
Insider Gaming described cinematic footage centered on broad environments, with images of a smaller creature and what appeared to be a boss. The report speculated that the expansive, bright settings might point to an open-world design, but that was not confirmed by the studio.
When was the full reveal scheduled?
The March 27, 2024 report said Yellow Brick Games had scheduled the full reveal for April 2, 2024, exclusively on IGN. That date was the planned announcement date as reported at the time; it does not, by itself, establish what was ultimately revealed.

Who is making the game?
Insider Gaming identified Mike Laidlaw as Yellow Brick Games’ Chief Creative Officer, Jeff Skalski as COO, Glenna Greer as a game designer, and Sebastien Primeau as art director. The report also said the studio was founded in 2020 by industry veterans and described Laidlaw’s previous work at Ubisoft and BioWare, including his association with the Dragon Age series.
What the announcement did not establish
The March 27 report does not establish the game’s eventual name, whether it has been released, its platforms, or whether it has a physical retail edition. Those details should not be inferred from the teaser or from the planned IGN reveal date.
