There is no universal bank code in Roblox: Dead Rails. To open a bank vault with a code, find and defeat the Banker Zombie wearing a top hat, then pick up the paper note labeled Bank Combo. The note contains the code for that playthrough. Take it back to the vault, rotate the wheel on the front, and match its numbers to the note.
How to get the Bank Combo in Dead Rails
- Find a bank. Look for a red-brick building with a sign that says Bank. Banks can appear in towns, so keep traveling if you have not encountered one yet.
- Prepare before entering. Zombies may be inside or around the bank. Bring a weapon and clear enough room to search safely rather than focusing on the vault immediately.
- Locate the Banker Zombie. The Banker Zombie is identifiable by its top hat. It is usually inside or near the bank.
- Defeat the Banker Zombie. After it dies, it drops the paper note marked Bank Combo. If the zombie has already been killed, check the nearby floor for the note.
- Read or keep the note with you. The numbers are generated for the current run. A code found in a previous playthrough should not be expected to work in a new one.
How to enter the bank vault code
- Go to the vault inside the bank.
- Interact with the combination wheel on the front of the vault.
- Rotate the wheel until the displayed numbers match the numbers on the Bank Combo note.
- Enter the complete sequence carefully. If the combination is correct, the vault opens.
The code is an in-game vault combination—not a Roblox promotional or redeem code. You do not enter it in Roblox’s gift-card or promo-code menu.
What is inside the Dead Rails bank vault?
Vault loot can vary, but reported rewards include valuable bars such as gold and silver. Bonds are also listed among possible contents by community references. Can you open the vault without the code?
Yes. An alternative is to buy dynamite from the Gunsmith shop and place it near the vault. Gameplay guides have reported a price of $25 in-game, although prices and mechanics can change with updates.
Dynamite is best treated as a fallback, not the default method. The blast may damage or destroy loot and can injure your character. It is also less controlled than using the Bank Combo, so the code method is the safer choice when the Banker Zombie and note are available. This is an in-game mechanic; do not interpret it as instructions for using real explosives.
