Lana Lore is a three-chapter Halloween quest in Dress to Impress: find Lana’s childhood belongings, collect six map pieces in the medical center, then survive a maze and defeat Lina. The original quest was seasonal, so start this guide only if the Lana Lore portal or quest server is available in your current DTI build.
Availability warning: Lana Lore is the three-chapter quest from the 2024 Halloween update, not the separate Lina-focused Halloween 2025 quest. The original event ran from October 19 to December 14, 2024, and community event records report a return on October 25, 2025. Roblox also included a Lana Lore mission in its 2025 Halloween promotion. However, there is no confirmed official source establishing that the 2024 quest is permanently available in the current DTI build. If the Lana Lore portal or quest server is available in your version of Dress to Impress, use the walkthrough below.
The quest is much easier with several players. Teams can divide the searches, call out keys and items in chat, and have one player distract the roaming enemy while another carries an objective. The quest moves players into dedicated quest environments rather than an ordinary runway round. Its three sections are: finding Lana’s belongings, collecting hospital map pieces and escaping, then navigating a maze and defeating Lina.

How to start the Lana Lore quest
- Enter a DTI lobby while the seasonal quest is active.
- Look for the Halloween quest portal, or use the relevant quest/server-selection option if the current lobby provides one.
- Join with teammates if possible. Cooperative play is strongly recommended, although the available research does not establish that solo play is impossible in every game version.
Do not assume that the Halloween portal is always present. It was a seasonal feature and may have been removed from the ordinary event environment after the event ended. If you cannot find it, check the current DTI event information or Roblox experience update rather than treating the quest as permanently unavailable.
Quick route: Chapter 1 keys and items
Chapter 1 starts near a well in a dark forest. You have approximately two minutes to find Lana’s childhood home. Follow the visible flower markings and split up instead of making the entire group trail behind one player. If nobody reaches the house before the timer expires, the chapter fails.
After the introductory cutscene, find six belongings and return each one to Lana’s room or suitcase. Players generally carry only one quest item at a time, so deposit an item before collecting another. The key-to-area route is:

Chapter 1 team strategy
- Call out every discovery. Say “red key,” “garage,” or “teddy bear” in chat so teammates do not repeat the same search.
- Return items immediately. Because carrying capacity is limited, do not pick up an item and then wander off to search another room.
- Use a decoy. The two-headed creature can damage or eliminate players. One teammate can draw it away while another retrieves a key or item.
- Avoid narrow rooms when the creature is nearby. The goal is routing around the enemy, not defeating it. Do not linger in doorways or dead ends.
- Check awkward hiding places carefully. The precise visual landmarks can be easy to miss, and walkthroughs differ slightly on some details even though the key-to-room sequence is consistent.

In the medical center, collect six map pieces from named rooms. The pieces can be gathered in different orders. Leaving Nurse Julie’s Office until last is a practical route because it is close to the escape path, not a mandatory requirement.
- Room 3: Check the bed, especially around the pillows, on the first floor.
- Cafeteria: Look on the last table on the left side of the first-floor cafeteria.
- Bathroom: Search near the final toilet and beneath the last shower on the right. The piece can appear partly clipped through the wall, so check both positions.
- Rec Room: On the second floor, search near the boxes beside the grocery-store area.
- Storage Room: Check the far-right shelf.
- Nurse Julie’s Office: Look on the desk.
How to escape the medical center
After the sixth piece is collected, go to the red Medical Wing door. This starts a chase sequence. Keep moving, follow the red trail toward the exit and avoid stopping to investigate side rooms. The chase is primarily a navigation test: speed and a clear route are more useful than trying to search for anything else.

Chapter 3: Complete the maze
The final chapter begins with a maze containing traps. Watch the floor as you move. Rectangular shadow patches indicate overhead spike traps, so do not casually run across them. Use environmental guidance such as lights, candles or visible particles when it appears. In cooperative servers, one successful player may be enough to advance the group, although the exact behavior can depend on the active game version.
If the maze is causing repeated failures:
- Slow down near suspicious rectangular shadows.
- Look above and ahead before committing to a corridor.
- Follow the visible environmental cues instead of exploring every branch.
- Let the player with the clearest route continue rather than having the entire team repeatedly trigger the same hazard.
How to defeat Lina
Pick up the scythe near the arena entrance before moving farther into the boss room. Lina’s encounter alternates between attack patterns and short vulnerability windows. You cannot safely win by swinging continuously; survive the hazards, wait for the opening and attack only when Lina is vulnerable.
- Strike the fake Lanas. Use the scythe on the fake versions of Lana when they appear.
- Climb onto a boulder during the tar phase. When boulders appear and tar begins filling the arena, jump onto a boulder and remain elevated until the tar recedes.
- Avoid marked attacks. Red glowing lines and circles indicate incoming attacks. Move away from them rather than standing in the marked areas.
- Run from Lina’s tornado movement. When Lina descends from her platform and moves like a tornado, keep running away from her.
- Jump over black circular attacks. These travel across the floor and should be jumped rather than tanked.
- Attack during the vulnerability window. When Lina collapses and receives a red outline, hit her with the scythe.
- Repeat if necessary. If the first damage phase does not defeat her, return to movement and survival until the next vulnerability window.
The most important boss rule is to prioritize survival over damage. Attacking outside the red-outline vulnerability phase exposes you to hazards without reliably progressing the fight.

Lana Lore quest rewards
The historical Halloween 2024 quest rewards included:
- Shield, with default and side configurations.
- Cage & Crow accessory, with cage, hand and shoulder configurations.
- Split Dress, which has multiple toggles.
- Men’s toga or chiton-style costume.
These are the rewards associated with the 2024 Lana Lore quest record. Their availability and whether they can still be claimed depend on whether the quest has been re-enabled in the current DTI build.
Lana Lore troubleshooting checklist
- No portal: The seasonal quest may not be active in your server or current game build. Verify the current event before spending time searching the lobby.
- Chapter 1 timer expired: Split the team immediately, follow the flower markings and prioritize reaching the house over exploring.
- An item seems missing: Confirm that the correct key was used, deposit any item already being carried, and inspect behind boxes, under planks and around shelves. The hospital bathroom piece can clip into the wall.
- The creature keeps eliminating the team: Stop trying to fight it. Use a player as a temporary decoy and move through rooms quickly.
- Hospital chase failure: Once the sixth map piece is collected, go straight toward the red Medical Wing route and do not detour.
- Maze failure: Watch for rectangular floor shadows and use lights, candles or particles as route clues.
- Boss failure: Keep moving through the attack patterns, use boulders during the tar phase, and swing only after Lina collapses and turns red.
