Update: AMD’s original Radeon RX 9070 XT giveaway is no longer a current entry opportunity. The reported deadline was March 13, 2025. The old “last chance” wording is now obsolete, and the campaign page should be treated as expired unless AMD publishes a new promotion with current rules.
Do not submit personal information through a copied or republished entry form. The presence of an old Gleam campaign page does not prove that entries are still accepted.
What the original giveaway offered
The promotion offered five AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics cards. Two of the five cards could be signed by AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su. Each winner was limited to one card, and the reported delivery estimate was up to four weeks.
This was specifically a giveaway for the RX 9070 XT, not the standard RX 9070.

Who was eligible?
According to contemporaneous reporting, the campaign was open to residents of the United States and Canada who were at least 18 years old. The shipping address also had to be serviceable by UPS, FedEx, or DHL.
Entrants were asked to provide their name, address, and phone number for shipping purposes. Those were the reported historical conditions; they should not be treated as current promotion rules. The available material does not establish eligibility for every territory, military address, PO box, or Canadian province.
PC Guide’s contemporaneous report summarised the promotion and its eligibility requirements.

How many people entered?
The campaign counter showed 2,554,700 entries when it was reported. That was a live snapshot, not a verified final number of valid entrants and not a reliable odds denominator.
A precise win probability would require the official rules to clarify how multiple entry methods were counted, whether repeated actions created separate entries, and how duplicate, automated, or invalid entries were removed. The reported counter cannot answer those questions.
Why the giveaway attracted attention
The promotion appeared during the RX 9070 XT’s launch period, when demand was high and some retailers sold through inventory quickly. Secondary-market listings were also reported at prices far above AMD’s launch MSRP, including listings exceeding $1,000.

Retail conditions were mixed rather than uniformly empty. Overclockers UK reported having more than 1,000 units of some RX 9070 XT models and several thousand cards across brands, but other reporting described rapid sell-through afterward. AMD executive Frank Azor said the company was working with add-in-board partners to replenish supply in the coming days and weeks.
Those reports describe March 2025 launch conditions. They do not establish nationwide US or Canadian stock or pricing today. A retailer’s inventory, a manufacturer’s MSRP, and the actual price of a specific board-partner model are separate things.

The standard RX 9070 was reported at a launch MSRP of $549. Neither figure should be used as a current deal benchmark without checking a current, timestamped retailer listing.

Should you try to enter now?
No. The original deadline was March 13, 2025, and no supplied source verifies that the campaign remains active or that AMD has replaced it with a new giveaway. Treat the old page as an archive unless a fresh AMD announcement and valid terms page provide a new closing date.

Never pay to claim a prize. Be especially cautious if a supposed AMD promotion asks for banking details, cryptocurrency, gift cards, a purchase, or payment for shipping. Check the domain, the closing date, the published rules, and AMD’s official promotion or social channels before sharing any information.

- Buy now: Use a reputable retailer, confirm that the card is new, and check the exact board-partner model, return policy, warranty region, and final price.
- Wait: Waiting is more sensible when a listing carries a substantial markup or comes from an unfamiliar marketplace seller.
- Consider alternatives: Compare the RX 9070, the GeForce RTX 5070, and used or open-box RX 9070 XT cards based on current prices, ray tracing, upscaling, power use, warranty, and return rights.
Used and marketplace cards can be cheaper, but buyers should check for mining history, physical damage, counterfeit hardware, imported stock, and warranty exclusions. A signed card may have collector appeal, but its value is subjective and should not be treated as a guaranteed investment.
For current products, start with AMD’s graphics products page and verify any retailer’s price and availability directly. Do not rely on the historical $599 MSRP or the March 2025 stock reports to judge a current offer.
