Infinix demonstrated a working GT-series prototype with a rear panel that changes appearance in response to phone activity. The panel, called DynaVue in reports, uses electrochromic technology rather than conventional RGB lighting. It is a prototype—not a confirmed retail phone—and there is no verified evidence that DynaVue is currently available to buy.
What the GT DynaVue prototype does
Infinix showed the prototype in May 2025 in the context of its GT Verse gaming ecosystem, which also included the retail GT 30 Pro, XPad GT tablet, and GT Buds. Reports describe the phone’s rear panel changing its visible color or pattern in response to events including an incoming call, starting a game, or opening the camera. Those are reported examples, not a confirmed list of every supported trigger.
The important distinction is that the panel is described as electrochromic, not an RGB light strip. In an idle state it can look subdued or matte black; when electrically driven, its material changes state so concealed colors, textures, or design elements become visible. The effect is a change in the panel’s appearance, rather than LEDs shining through a cover. DynaVue’s apparent appeal is contextual feedback: a restrained-looking back when idle, with a visual change when something happens on the phone. That may feel more integrated than decorative lighting, but it is primarily a design and notification idea. It does not itself improve frame rates, latency, cooling, or other game performance.

Infinix has explored color-changing phone backs before, but those experiments should not be conflated. The company’s separate E-Color Shift 2.0 announcement described an AI-powered concept with 46 color-changing zones, an internal battery, and a Prism3S diaphragm. That is useful context for Infinix’s design research; it does not establish DynaVue’s construction or specifications.
DynaVue prototype versus the retail GT 30 Pro
The GT DynaVue prototype appeared around the GT 30 Pro’s launch period and within the same broader GT context. That association is not proof that the retail phone has the prototype’s panel. Infinix’s official GT 30 Pro page identifies an actual commercially listed phone and provides a purchase path, but the available product information does not confirm DynaVue as a GT 30 Pro feature.

So, do not buy a GT 30 Pro on the assumption that it includes DynaVue. The prototype has not been established as a final GT 30 Pro variant, nor has a separate retail model been confirmed. Specifications for other GT phones—such as the GT 20 Pro’s display, processor, battery, or LED styling—cannot be used to fill in the DynaVue prototype’s missing specification sheet.

There is no confirmed DynaVue retail phone to buy in the available evidence. No verified price, launch date, model number, regional availability, final hardware specification, or mass-production commitment has been announced in the sources reviewed here. Demonstration footage or prototype coverage shows that the idea was presented as operational; it does not establish that a finished phone is on sale.

If Infinix brings the feature to market, useful confirmation would include an official product page naming DynaVue, a model number and complete specifications, regional purchase listings, and warranty or service information. Independent hands-on testing would also help answer practical questions that a prototype demonstration cannot: how quickly the panel changes, how it behaves in sunlight or heat, whether cases obscure it, and how well it holds up over time.

The reported effect is visually distinctive, but the available information does not establish its power use, transition speed, color range, durability, repair cost, weight or thickness impact, or customization options. There are no verified battery measurements to show whether it saves power compared with lighting, and no basis to assume users can program arbitrary colors, animations, or triggers. Electrochromic effects may also look less vivid than LEDs in bright daylight, while a phone case could hide or diminish the panel.

For now, DynaVue is best understood as a promising design experiment: an electrically controlled rear panel intended to react to phone activity. It is real as a demonstrated prototype, but not verified as a purchasable Infinix phone or a feature of the retail GT 30 Pro.
