No verified official standalone “BGMI Lite 0.23.0 APK + OBB” download is available. KRAFTON’s official channels list the standard BGMI app, not a separate Lite edition. Do not install an APK advertised under this name unless KRAFTON publishes an official product page and store listing.

What the official listings show
The official BGMI website provides download routes for standard BGMI, including its Android APK path, Google Play, and the Apple App Store. It does not identify a separate BGMI Lite application.
The official Android listing is BGMI: FPS Battle Royale, published by KRAFTON, Inc. The official iOS listing is BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA. Neither listing identifies a BGMI Lite edition.
This does not prove that KRAFTON has never tested an internal build. It does establish the reader-relevant point: there is no publicly verified official BGMI Lite 0.23.0 download through KRAFTON’s listed channels.

BGMI Lite is not PUBG MOBILE LITE

The official PUBG MOBILE LITE website describes a separate game with a smaller map designed for 60 players and optimization for devices with less RAM. Those specifications must not be attributed to an alleged BGMI Lite client.
The confusion appears to come partly from pages using the exact “BGMI Lite 0.23.0 APK + OBB” wording while describing PUBG Mobile Lite material. For example, an exact-match third-party page presents the phrase as BGMI Lite but discusses PUBG Mobile Lite content. That is evidence of product conflation, not proof of an official BGMI release.
Why the APK + OBB wording does not prove authenticity
- APK means Android application package—the installable app file.
- OBB refers to additional game data used by some older Android games.
A genuine APK and matching data file still need the correct package identity, version, publisher signature, compatible online services, and a trusted first-party source. A filename such as BGMI Lite 0.23.0.apk proves none of those things.

The file could instead be an outdated PUBG MOBILE LITE build, a renamed or repackaged APK, a modified client, an incompatible test build, or malicious software. Do not sideload an unverified file merely because its APK and OBB versions appear to match.
How to verify a real BGMI Lite release
A legitimate public release should be supported by several independent signals:
- An announcement or product page on an official KRAFTON or BGMI domain.
- A new Google Play or Apple App Store listing naming the product and developer.
- Officially documented package and version information.
- Matching information across KRAFTON’s website, store listing, and support channels.
Social posts, gaming blogs, Telegram messages, shortened links, and download pages are not confirmation by themselves. Reports in 2026 about possible interest surveys or the absence of a release date remain secondary context, not a launch announcement. An unverified Reddit claim should likewise not be treated as confirmation.

Where to download the official BGMI app
Use only these first-party routes:
The APK offered through the official BGMI website is the standard BGMI client unless KRAFTON explicitly labels a separate Lite product. A different domain is not made official by using BGMI screenshots, logos, or KRAFTON’s name.
Practical advice for older or low-end Android phones
If you want to try standard BGMI, first check the current requirements and compatibility information shown by the official store listing. Requirements can change as the game receives updates, so old articles quoting a fixed RAM figure should not be treated as current guidance.
- Free enough internal storage for the app, updates, and downloaded game resources.
- Close background apps before playing.
- Use the lowest available graphics preset and reduce frame-rate settings if necessary.
- Keep Android and the official game client updated.
- Use a stable Wi-Fi or mobile-data connection.
- Avoid GFX tools, config injectors, anti-lag APKs, modified clients, and “anti-ban” utilities.
If standard BGMI remains unusable, choose a genuinely supported lower-spec game rather than an unofficial BGMI clone or mod. No trustworthy performance guarantee can be made for an alleged BGMI Lite APK.

KRAFTON’s historical notice for the BGMI 3.1 update said that Android 4.4 and below, and iOS 10 and below, would no longer be supported from that update onward. That is historical compatibility information, not the complete current requirement for 2026. Check the current official store listing and KRAFTON support channels.

Unknown APKs cannot be assumed safe. Depending on the file, risks may include malware, credential theft, intrusive permissions, modified game behavior, or account penalties. “Unlimited UC,” free skins, no-verification downloads, and anti-ban promises are particularly strong warning signs.

An unofficial client may also install successfully but fail to log in because it uses the wrong game or region, discontinued servers, mismatched assets, an incompatible version, or a modified package. Installation is not evidence that the game is genuine or supported. Likewise, a battle-royale client that installs offline cannot be assumed to function without its online services.

If you already installed the file
- Uninstall the unverified APK and remove its downloaded data files.
- Run Google Play Protect or a reputable mobile-security scan.
- From a clean device, change the password for the BGMI/KRAFTON-linked account.
- Review email, social-login, and payment-account activity for anything unusual.
- Remove unexpected accessibility, device-admin, VPN, or other special permissions.
- Contact official KRAFTON support if the account shows suspicious activity or penalties.
These steps do not mean every unofficial APK contains malware; they reduce risk when the file’s provenance and behavior cannot be verified.
Verdict
Do not download or recommend a file marketed as “BGMI Lite 0.23.0 APK + OBB.” It is not supported by a verified official BGMI listing and appears to conflate BGMI with the separate PUBG MOBILE LITE product. For BGMI, use KRAFTON’s official website or the verified app-store listing, and wait for an official announcement and product page before believing any future Lite-release claim.
