Hogwarts Legacy has 30 Demiguise statues in the free-roam checklist: 10 at Hogwarts, 9 in Hogsmeade and 11 across the Highlands. Three additional statues are collected during The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament, making 33 statues in the game overall. Finish that quest, change the time to night, and collect nine free-roam Demiguise Moons to unlock Alohomora II.
Before you start
- Progress through the story until The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament.
- Complete the quest’s three guided statue objectives and learn Alohomora I.
- Open the map and use Wait to switch from day to night. Demiguise statues cannot be collected during the day.
- Give Gladwin Moon nine free-roam Moons for Alohomora II. Collecting 22 in total unlocks Alohomora III.
The checked location guides report that Alohomora II opens every one of the 30 free-roam locations below; Alohomora III is not needed for this checklist.

The map’s collectible tracker counts the 30 free-roam statues. The three quest statues are not missing; they are obtained during the introductory quest.

Astronomy Wing — Professor Fig’s Office
Enter Professor Fig’s office and check the table beside the fireplace.

Astronomy Wing — Transfiguration Classroom route
From the Transfiguration Classroom route, descend the stairs toward the sleeping dragon statue. Open the Level 1 locked door; the Demiguise is on furniture near the entrance.

Astronomy Wing — Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower
Descend to ground level and open the Level 2 door. The statue is on a desk inside.

Great Hall
Go to the right of the Hufflepuff dining table. Behind a Level 1 door, find the statue on a table near a chair.

Library Annex — Restricted Section
Go down into the Restricted Section. The statue is beside a lamp near an Eye Chest.

Library Annex — Potions Class
Pass through the double doors, descend the spiral stairs and continue beyond the locked doors to the small room below the classroom.

Library Annex — Divination Classroom
Climb the spiral stairs and ladder to Professor Onai’s desk, where the statue sits.

Bell Tower Wing — Beasts Classroom
Turn around from the Floo Flame, open the Level 2 door in the groundskeeper’s building and descend the stairs.

Bell Tower Wing — Hogwarts North Exit
Turn back from the Floo Flame and enter the small Level 1 locked room beneath the stairs.

South Wing — Clock Tower Courtyard
Cross the bridge to the wizard’s bathroom. Open the Level 1 door and enter the out-of-order stall’s secret room.

Look near a window inside the shop.

Enter the house directly south of Ollivanders and go to the second floor.

Hog’s Head
Check the small back room of the Hog’s Head.

The Three Broomsticks
Go upstairs and open the Level 1 lock.

House beside The Three Broomsticks
Enter the neighboring house; the statue is on a small table.

House beside J. Pippin’s Potions
Search the second floor.

Gladrags Wizardwear
The statue is on the shop counter.

Northern waterwheel house
Enter the house by the northern waterwheel.

House across from Brood and Peck
Open the Level 1 door across the street from Brood and Peck.
Highlands Demiguise statue locations (11)

Aranshire
Enter the house nearest the Floo Flame and go upstairs. The statue is beside the bed.

Lower Hogsfield
In the house nearest the Floo Flame, look on the ground by the door.

Pitt-Upon-Ford
Find the house with a carriage outside. The statue is on the top floor between a mirror and a lamp.

Upper Hogsfield
Across from the Hamlet Shop, enter the house with a well and check the stool inside.

Enter the pumpkin-filled house behind the Hamlet Shop. Open the Level 1 door; the statue is on a table just inside.

Brocburrow
Cross the road from the Floo Flame to the house with the statue on the floor beside a red privacy screen.

Irondale
In the house nearest the Floo Flame, look behind the counter near the stove and fruit.

Enter the house facing the Floo Flame and open the Level 2 door. The statue is on a window sill near the stairs.

Marunweem
Find the house nearest the noticeboard, identifiable by stacked cauldrons outside. The statue is on the ground behind the left counter.

Bainburgh
Across from the Hamlet Shop, enter the house with cages in the yard. The statue is on a small table beside a chair.

Cragcroft
Enter the house beside the Hamlet Shop and check the second floor beside the bed.

What to do if a statue is missing
- Check the regional map tracker and the individual Hogwarts wing totals to identify the area still incomplete.
- Confirm that The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament is finished and that you are playing at night.
- If the door will not open, check its lock level. Alohomora II is sufficient for the 30 locations in this guide, but Level 2 doors remain inaccessible until Gladwin Moon receives nine free-roam Moons.
- Remember that the three quest statues are separate from the 30 marked free-roam collectibles.
