The Dress to Impress (DTI) Halloween 2025 update launched on October 18, 2025, adding 56 items, 13 hairstyles, new makeup and runway effects, a Freeplay town, Candy currency, seasonal activities, and a Lina lore quest. Its seasonal content ended on December 13, 2025, with the Winter 2025 update.
When did the DTI Halloween update come out?
The Halloween 2025 update released on October 18, 2025. A separate part of its story content arrived a week later: the 2024 Lana lore quest returned on October 25, giving players another chance to access that earlier story and its rewards.
The update is also listed as version 2.3.0.4 in the community changelog. Roblox’s Halloween Spotlight was a separate platform-wide event, running from October 23 through November 3, 2025. Roblox highlighted DTI’s themed clothes, runway effects, and an extra Lana Lore quest as part of that promotion.

What was added in the October 18 patch?
Clothes, hair, makeup, and patterns
- 56 new items across VIP, free, Baddie Pass, Candy, and other seasonal reward routes, including two secret items.
- 13 new hairstyles, new patterns, and expanded makeup and custom-makeup content.
- In-game makeup for Season 2 Mystery Models.
- The Haunting Beauty set, listed at 259 Robux in the update log.
Runway and movement options
- Three new runway effects and three new walk packs.
- A new runway, plus more runway options in Walk the Runway.
- Three new pose packs and the return of the Editorial and Halloween pose packs.
- More than 50 new themes.
New ways to play
- A new Freeplay town.
- Casual servers with no item adjustments, a reduced item limit, and a tutorial for new players.
- A new Baddie Pass, described in the update log as easier to complete and containing multiple rewards.
How did Candy and the seasonal activities work?
Candy was the update’s seasonal currency. Players could earn it through Halloween activities, while cosmetics were also distributed through free, VIP, Baddie Pass, and other seasonal routes. The update notes do not give Candy earning rates or a completion-time estimate, so there is no reliable basis for comparing how quickly Candy rewards could be earned with pass progression.

Apple Bobbing, Trick or Treating, and Scarlet’s Quest
Apple Bobbing was a minigame, and Trick or Treating let players visit houses. A portal also provided access to Scarlet’s Quest. The patch notes list these as seasonal activities but do not provide detailed quest steps or item-by-item rewards.
The Lina quest and returning Lana story
The October 18 update added a Lina lore quest. The returning 2024 Lana lore quest was a separate release on October 25; Roblox also called out a Lana Lore quest in its Halloween Spotlight promotion. The available update summary does not establish that Lina and Lana refer to the same quest, so they should be treated as separate story content.

When did the Halloween content leave DTI?
The Halloween season concluded on December 13, 2025, when the Winter 2025 update released. The Halloween content was therefore seasonal rather than an ongoing event. The update documentation does not establish which individual cosmetics, if any, remained available afterward as permanent unlocks.

Did the patch include any fixes?
The community changelog for version 2.3.0.4 also records a fix for changing-room chests: they were updated to populate unlocked items for the relevant updates. This was a recorded fix alongside the October 18 release, separate from the new features listed above.
