- Browse the available game or content offer and select Claim.
- When prompted, link the required Epic, GOG, Legacy Games, publisher, or other account.
- For Amazon Games distribution, install the Amazon Games app and sign in with the same Amazon account.
- Open the app’s library and use Ready to Install to download a claimed game.
Claiming and installing were separate actions. A claim could be recorded even when the game used another launcher, but the entitlement had to be redeemed to the intended account.
Downloadable Prime Gaming games versus Luna cloud access
Amazon describes downloadable Prime Gaming offers and Prime-enabled Luna access as separate benefits. The distinction is important because cloud access is not a downloadable store license.

Amazon’s Luna explanation says Prime members in selected countries receive Fortnite and a rotating selection of cloud games at no additional charge: Amazon Luna cloud games from Prime. Those games should not be added to the September 2024 downloadable PC total.
What “keep the game” means

Prime Gaming is not Prime Video
Prime Gaming covers PC games, in-game content, Twitch benefits, and related gaming offers. Prime Video is Amazon’s movie and television service. Amazon Luna is the separate cloud-gaming service with its own device and regional requirements.
