How to solve this Connections board
- Test obvious phrase completions. BUMBLE, CARPENTER, HONEY and KILLER pair cleanly with “bee,” making the green group the most direct entry point.
- Separate cultural references. BROOKLYN, GOLDEN GATE, RIALTO and TOWER become bridge names when followed by “Bridge.”
- Examine the remaining verbs. LACE, TWIST, WEAVE and WIND share the idea of intertwining strands or things.
- Inspect the word openings. The last four entries begin with crave-, desire-, need- and want-like forms, which identifies the wordplay group rather than a literal subject.
