Yes, LinkedIn has daily puzzle games, but it does not offer the original New York Times Wordle. Its lineup includes word, trivia, logic, path, spatial and number puzzles. The closest match for Wordle fans is Wend, a LinkedIn word game that uses a letter grid and word-length clues rather than Wordle’s five-letter guesses and colored positional feedback.
What LinkedIn actually launched
LinkedIn introduced its Games initiative in 2024 with Pinpoint, Queens and Crossclimb, describing the games as a way to encourage conversation and friendly competition among professionals. It later added Zip in 2025, followed by Patches and Wend in 2026. LinkedIn’s current Help documentation lists eight games, although the lineup can change by date, region or interface rollout.
The original launch is documented in LinkedIn’s 2024 announcement. The later additions were announced in 2025, March 2026 and June 2026.

What is Wend, and how is it different from Wordle?
Announced on June 8, 2026, Wend is LinkedIn’s newest word game and the first new word game added since the 2024 launch, according to LinkedIn’s announcement. A third-party description from Social Media Today characterizes its Wordle-like element.
- You see a grid of letters.
- The puzzle gives you the lengths of hidden words rather than the words themselves.
- You search the grid for those words.
- Every letter must be used exactly once.
That makes Wend Wordle-adjacent, not a Wordle clone. Wordle asks you to guess one hidden five-letter word and responds with green, yellow and gray positional clues. Wend is a constrained hidden-word search: its challenge is finding multiple words and fitting every letter into the solution.

How to find LinkedIn’s games
On desktop
- Open LinkedIn and go to the Games hub, or search LinkedIn for “Games.”
- Open My Network and look for the daily-games section.
- On the desktop homepage, check LinkedIn News for Today’s Games.
- Select the game you want to play.
In the mobile app
- Open the LinkedIn app.
- From the homepage, swipe right to open the side panel.
- Find the games section and select a title.
Games may also appear in notifications or other parts of LinkedIn. Labels and placement can differ by account, app version, interface rollout and region. LinkedIn’s access instructions are at its Games Help page.
Are LinkedIn games free, and do you need an account?
LinkedIn says any LinkedIn member or non-member can play, and its documentation does not list a special paid subscription for game access. It also says there are no prizes for solving the puzzles. “Free to play” describes access to the games; it does not mean every LinkedIn service is free, and LinkedIn does not state that Premium adds extra game content.

Guest access may not provide the same experience as signed-in play. Playing a puzzle, saving a streak, appearing on a leaderboard, seeing connections’ activity, sharing a score and receiving notifications can have different requirements. LinkedIn’s wording confirms non-member play but does not promise identical feature availability for guests.
Daily resets, streaks and competition
LinkedIn releases a new puzzle for each game every day at midnight Pacific Time. The previous puzzle expires when the new one appears, so the reset may occur at a different local time for you and there is no documented archive of past daily puzzles. The timing and expiration rules are detailed at LinkedIn Help.
Players can build streaks by playing daily and see the streak on the game launch and results pages. LinkedIn also supports connections leaderboards, company and school leaderboards, score sharing and daily discussion threads. The company leaderboard covers companies with at least 500 employees on LinkedIn. The school leaderboard currently includes U.S. schools listed within the NCAA and schools in India, according to LinkedIn’s documentation.

Scores are not automatically public to everyone. LinkedIn says a score remains private unless you opt into the connections leaderboard or share it directly. If you opt in, eligible connections—including colleagues, recruiters or employers who are also in your network—may be able to see it, subject to participation and visibility settings. LinkedIn says the games can be played in English from anywhere on LinkedIn. Tutorials are translated according to the app’s local-language setting, but that does not mean every game is fully localized in every supported language. LinkedIn specifically says Queens, Tango, Zip, Mini Sudoku and Patches are accessible in all supported languages; availability for the other games may differ.
What to do when something does not work
The Games link is missing
Try LinkedIn Search for “Games,” open My Network, check LinkedIn News for Today’s Games, or use the mobile side panel. The feature may be placed differently in your account or app version.

A previous puzzle cannot be opened
This is expected after the daily reset: LinkedIn says old puzzles expire when the new puzzle is released.
A game appears in English
Tutorial translation and game availability are separate. Your app can be localized while a particular puzzle remains English.
Scores or connections are not visible
You may not have joined the relevant leaderboard, another player may have different visibility settings, or the person may be playing as a guest.

Someone calls Wend “Wordle”
The precise description is Wordle-like or Wordle-adjacent. Wend’s hidden-word grid and one-use letters are different from Wordle’s single five-letter guess.

LinkedIn has built a free daily-puzzle hub, not an official Wordle service. Wend is the best choice for Wordle fans who want wordplay, while Pinpoint and Crossclimb offer different kinds of language deduction and the remaining games cover logic, numbers, paths and spatial reasoning. Open LinkedIn’s Games hub to try the current puzzle, keeping in mind the midnight Pacific reset, optional social visibility and possible language or guest-mode differences.
