Yes—potentially. The “new Dragon Age” game is Dragon Age: The Veilguard, BioWare’s single-player RPG released on October 31, 2024. NVIDIA has documented it as playable through the EA app on GeForce NOW, but catalog entries and storefront support can change by region. Search the live catalog before buying a membership or another copy of the game.
GeForce NOW supplies a cloud gaming session; it normally does not supply ownership of a paid game. You need the supported PC entitlement on the EA app, Steam, or Epic Games Store, plus the matching account connected to GeForce NOW.
What “the new Dragon Age game” means
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the title in question. Developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts, it is a single-player RPG set in Thedas. You play as Rook and recruit seven companions. It launched for PC, PlayStation and Xbox on October 31, 2024—not as a new release in August 2026.

Is The Veilguard on GeForce NOW this week?
NVIDIA’s June 18, 2026 coverage specifically references The Veilguard through the EA app on GeForce NOW: NVIDIA’s game-stores announcement. That confirms documented support, not a permanent guarantee. The authoritative check is the live GeForce NOW games catalog.
- Search for the complete title, Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
- Check the storefront badge. If it shows the EA app, use the EA-app launch path; do not assume a Steam or Epic copy will work.
- Confirm that the listing is available in your country before paying for a plan or a second copy.
If the title is absent, it may be unavailable in your region, temporarily removed, under maintenance, or listed only for a different storefront.
What you must own
A GeForce NOW membership gives you access to NVIDIA’s streaming hardware and software. It does not generally unlock every paid game. NVIDIA explains the account-linking process in its setup guide: connect your existing PC-game libraries, sign in to verify ownership, and launch supported titles.

- EA app: The cleanest route when the catalog badge is EA. The game entitlement must belong to the EA account connected to GeForce NOW.
- Steam: Buy or use your Steam copy only if the current listing explicitly supports Steam.
- Epic Games Store: The same rule applies; Epic support must be shown in the catalog.
- EA Play: EA currently lists The Veilguard in its EA Play Play List. EA says an EA Play membership applies to one platform, so verify that the entitlement matches the supported GeForce NOW storefront at EA’s EA Play page.
Do not treat ownership on Steam, Epic and the EA app as interchangeable launch paths. If only the EA app is listed, buying another storefront copy may be necessary—but check the catalog first.

Recommendation for The Veilguard
Performance is the sensible default. A single-player RPG does not automatically require Ultimate, and Performance’s advertised 1440p/60 FPS target is sufficient for most displays. Choose Ultimate if you specifically value higher frame rates, ray tracing, DLSS 4 and the highest available streaming quality, and your device, display and network can use them. Free is useful for a quick account test, not as a promise of uninterrupted sessions.

- Buy or confirm the PC version listed in the live GeForce NOW catalog, or verify a compatible EA Play entitlement.
- Create or sign in to a GeForce NOW account.
- Select Free, Performance, Ultimate or a Day Pass.
- Install the GeForce NOW app, or use the supported browser player at play.geforcenow.com.
- Open account settings and connect the relevant EA, Steam or Epic account. For an EA listing, use the EA account that owns the game or carries the eligible entitlement.
- Search for Dragon Age: The Veilguard and select the matching storefront.
- Complete any publisher or store sign-in prompt, then launch.
- Before changing devices, wait for the game and store to finish cloud-save synchronization.
Use the same publisher and storefront account on every session. NVIDIA specifically discusses cloud saves for supported games such as Steam Cloud; do not assume identical behavior across every EA, Steam and Epic configuration.

NVIDIA promotes GeForce NOW on phones, tablets, Macs, TVs, handhelds and browsers, but app availability and controller support differ by hardware. A controller is preferable for a long RPG session. A 4K-capable membership also cannot guarantee a 4K stream if the device, browser, display, game or network does not support it.
If you install the game locally instead, EA lists 16GB RAM, DirectX 12 and 100GB of storage, with an SSD preferred for recommended use. Those local requirements do not become GeForce NOW requirements because the game runs on NVIDIA’s cloud machine.
EA Play versus buying The Veilguard
EA Play may cost less for a short period and includes the game in its Play List, but access depends on the eligible platform and can change if the catalog changes. Buying the PC version is the more durable choice for someone who expects to return to the game over several years.

- Choose EA Play when you want a short trial or also want other EA games, and the platform-specific entitlement is confirmed to work with the listed GeForce NOW path.
- Choose purchase when you want ongoing access independent of a subscription catalog, or already own the game on the storefront NVIDIA lists.
- Do not call a GeForce NOW Day Pass a game trial: it provides streaming-service access, not automatic ownership of The Veilguard.
Why the old Dragon Age bundle is not current
NVIDIA’s prominent Dragon Age promotion was a launch offer in October 2024: a qualifying six-month GeForce NOW Ultimate purchase included the game, and the offer ended October 30, 2024. The details remain in NVIDIA’s launch-bundle announcement, but it should not be treated as an August 2026 giveaway or included game.
Troubleshooting
The game does not appear
- Search the full name rather than only “Dragon Age.”
- Check the live catalog and the storefront selector.
- Confirm regional availability and connect the correct EA, Steam or Epic account.
- Check NVIDIA’s service-status information if the listing was previously visible.
- Do not buy another copy until the desired storefront is visibly supported.
The game asks you to buy it
The connected account may not own the game, EA Play may be active on another platform, or you may have linked a different EA account from the one used at purchase. A Steam or Epic entitlement may not satisfy an EA-app launch path.
Saves are missing
Recheck the storefront and publisher account, relaunch through the same path used originally, and allow synchronization to finish before closing the session. Switching between EA app, Steam and Epic versions can put saves under different account or cloud-save contexts.
Streaming stutters or looks soft
Bandwidth, Wi-Fi congestion and route latency can limit quality regardless of tier. Try Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, reduce competing traffic, and test the nearest available data center. Ultimate’s maximums do not override a weak connection or unsupported display.
Verdict
The low-risk route is to search the live GeForce NOW catalog, confirm the exact storefront entitlement, then test with Free or a Day Pass. For a normal paid playthrough, pair the supported PC version with Performance. Reserve Ultimate for players who can actually use its higher-quality streaming features. There is no verified current version of the expired 2024 Dragon Age bundle.
