NVIDIA announced Forza Motorsport for GeForce NOW on October 12, 2023, and listed the 2023 Lords of the Fallen for the service on its October 13 release day. The announcement covered 23 games, but it did not make either game free: you still need access to the game through a supported store or subscription. The announcement is historical; check the GeForce NOW app or live catalog for availability in your region today.
What NVIDIA added in October 2023
NVIDIA’s October 12, 2023 GeForce NOW update named Forza Motorsport as its headline addition and listed Lords of the Fallen for Steam and Epic Games Store on October 13, 2023. The update announced 23 games in total. “Land on GeForce NOW” meant that the service could stream supported versions; it was not a giveaway or a transfer of game ownership.
Forza Motorsport
NVIDIA listed Steam, Xbox, and PC Game Pass for Forza Motorsport. Treat “Xbox” carefully: that platform wording does not establish that the Xbox console edition streams through GeForce NOW. The supported route is the compatible PC storefront or PC Game Pass integration shown in the service.
The launch announcement highlighted more than 500 cars, 20 tracks, dynamic weather and time of day, online racing, AI competition, the Builders Cup career, and more than 800 performance upgrades. These are launch-era descriptions, not a statement about current game content or cloud performance.

Lords of the Fallen
The listing was for the 2023 action RPG from HEXWORKS and CI Games, not the separate 2014 game with the same title. NVIDIA named Steam and Epic Games Store. Its announcement described an interconnected world, challenging combat and boss encounters, story-focused character encounters, and a setting divided between the worlds of the living and the dead.
You still need access to each game
GeForce NOW connects to supported game libraries; a membership generally pays for streaming access, not a copy of the game. NVIDIA describes support for libraries including Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, PC Game Pass, and Ubisoft Connect on its service page. Storefront integrations and game availability can vary, so confirm the exact title and version in the app before buying or subscribing.
- Forza Motorsport: use a supported Steam copy or the compatible PC Game Pass/Microsoft account route where offered. PC Game Pass is distinct from console Game Pass.
- Lords of the Fallen: use the Steam or Epic version supported in the catalog. Store purchases are separate; buying on Steam does not grant the Epic version, or vice versa.
- Both: you need a GeForce NOW account, a linked store account, a supported device, and an internet connection suitable for streaming. A paid GeForce NOW tier may be useful, but is not game ownership.
How to launch a supported copy
- Create or sign in to GeForce NOW, then choose an available membership tier or try the free option if offered in your region.
- Link the relevant account: Steam for either game, Epic for Lords of the Fallen, or the supported PC Game Pass/Microsoft account route for Forza Motorsport.
- Search for the exact game title in the GeForce NOW app or catalog and select the storefront edition you own or can access.
- Sign in to the game store if prompted, then start the stream.
If a game does not appear
- Check that you selected the storefront matching your copy and that you are searching for the 2023 Lords of the Fallen.
- Check the live catalog for your country; regional catalogs are not proof that availability is identical everywhere.
- Update or restart the app, then sign out and relink the relevant store account.
- Do not buy another copy until you have ruled out a storefront mismatch or regional availability issue.
NVIDIA’s October 2023 announcement establishes the original listings, not present-day availability in every country or on every plan. A Taiwan Mobile regional catalog lists both titles, but that is not conclusive evidence of identical availability in the United States.

Membership, ownership, and prices
As plan signals listed on NVIDIA’s U.S. marketplace on August 16, 2026, GeForce NOW offered Free, Performance, and Ultimate options. The figures below are observed U.S. prices and capability listings, not guarantees: prices, terms, availability, and specifications can change. Actual streaming depends on the game, display, device, network, and region.

These are the plan signals on NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW Marketplace observed August 16, 2026. “Up to” describes a service ceiling, not a promise that either game will stream at that resolution and frame rate on every screen or device. The free option can help test basic compatibility and latency, though ads and queues may make it unlike paid-tier use.

The U.S. PC Game Pass listing displayed $13.99 per month on August 16, 2026. It provides access to a rotating PC game library rather than permanent ownership, and the subscription renews automatically unless canceled. Confirm that Forza Motorsport remains in the PC catalog and that its GeForce NOW integration is available before subscribing for this purpose.
PC Game Pass is a lower-upfront-cost way to try the game or play other included PC titles while it remains in the catalog. A Steam purchase is a separate store copy that does not depend on keeping Game Pass active.

NVIDIA’s October 2023 post advertised Ultimate streaming at up to 4K/120 fps and RTX-powered cloud performance. That is a launch-era claim, not the current plan ceiling or a guarantee for an individual session. The marketplace listed higher potential ceilings on August 16, 2026, but a compatible display, device, game configuration, connection, and regional service are all relevant.

NVIDIA separately announced day-one DLSS 3 Frame Generation support for Lords of the Fallen on local GeForce RTX 40-series PCs in its Game Ready Driver announcement. That local-PC announcement does not prove that every GeForce NOW tier uses identical cloud-server settings.
Which game suits cloud play?
Forza Motorsport
Streaming can be convenient if you already own a supported copy but do not have a gaming PC, or want to play on a supported laptop, Mac, TV, phone, tablet, or handheld. Racing is particularly sensitive to steering response and latency, so a stable connection matters more here than headline resolution alone. Verify wheel and advanced peripheral support for your device before counting on a local-console-like setup; competitive online racing may feel less consistent than local play.
Lords of the Fallen
Cloud access can avoid a large local installation and let a low-powered device run the stream. The action RPG’s combat relies on timing, however, so players who are especially sensitive to input delay may prefer local play. Check that the store edition you own is the edition offered in your regional catalog.

- Consider it if you already own a supported copy, have reliable broadband, want to play on a device that cannot run the game locally, or prefer streaming over a hardware upgrade.
- Think twice if you need offline play, have unstable or congested internet, face data caps, depend on unsupported mods or local files, or do not want continuing membership costs.
- Understand the access trade-off: streaming depends on both a supported game-store entitlement and the game remaining available through the service; neither is guaranteed by owning a GeForce NOW membership.
