Is Gacha Nox still available?
No. The creator’s itch.io page labels Gacha Nox “Canceled” and explains the plagiarism-related takedown. Future development was redirected to Gacha Nebula. Third-party sites may still offer old APK or ZIP files, but they are not the creator’s current download page.
Use the creator’s Gacha Nebula page instead. The files shown there when reviewed on August 18, 2026 were version 1.6, but file names and sizes can change.

Before downloading
- Start at the creator’s itch.io page, not an APK mirror or “download manager.”
- Have substantially more free storage than the download size. The listed files are about 368–372 MB, plus space for extraction, installation and temporary files.
- Back up exported characters and saves before replacing an installation.
- Do not disable antivirus permanently or install certificates, browser extensions, unknown executables or configuration profiles to obtain the game.
Android installation
Choose the correct APK
The page lists a 64-bit APK (approximately 369 MB) and a 32-bit APK (approximately 370 MB). Check your phone or tablet’s software or kernel information rather than guessing. A 32-bit device cannot run a 64-bit APK. The creator says the 32-bit build can be tried when architecture is unclear, but that is creator guidance, not a universal guarantee.

Install it
- Open Gacha Nebula’s creator page.
- Download the matching Android APK.
- Open the file from Downloads.
- If Android blocks it, grant the browser or file manager permission under a menu similar to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps. Labels vary by Android version and manufacturer.
- Tap Install, then launch the game.
Android’s unknown-app warning means you are sideloading; it is not proof that a file is safe. Keep Play Protect and device security enabled where possible.
Windows installation
The creator’s page lists a Windows ZIP (approximately 372 MB) and RAR (approximately 368 MB).
- Download one archive from the creator’s page and wait for it to finish.
- Right-click it and choose Extract All, or use an archive utility such as WinRAR if Windows extraction fails.
- Open the extracted folder.
- Run Gacha Nebula.exe from inside that folder.
Keep the executable beside its accompanying files; moving only the EXE can stop the packaged game from launching. If extraction reports errors, redownload the archive and try another extractor. Check antivirus quarantine or protection history before assuming a warning is a false positive.

Chromebook installation
The creator documents an Android/ADB route rather than a Chrome Web Store app. Menus and prompts differ by ChromeOS version, and school or work administration may disable Linux, debugging or APK installation.
- Open Settings → Advanced → Developers.
- Enable Linux Development Environment, then choose a username and disk size.
- Open the Linux Terminal and install ADB:
sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb -y- Connect to the Android debugging endpoint:
adb connect 100.115.92.2:5555- Copy the APK into the Chromebook’s Linux files area.
- Install it, replacing the filename with the actual file name:
adb install filename.apkIf ADB reports multiple devices, the creator gives this example:
adb -s emulator-5554 install filename.apkAn exact filename, accepted debugging prompt and enabled Linux environment are all required. Managed Chromebooks may simply prohibit this route.

macOS installation
No native macOS build is listed. The creator’s installation guide points to emulation or compatibility tools, including Wine-based software, BlueStacks and NoxPlayer.
Windows build through compatibility software
Download the Windows archive, extract it, and attempt to run it with a Wine-based tool. Graphics, file paths and compatibility can differ between Intel and Apple-silicon Macs.
Android APK in an emulator
Install an Android emulator from its vendor’s official site, then install the APK inside that emulator. Android version, graphics support, performance and APK handling vary. BlueStacks’ Gacha Nox page is third-party emulator guidance, not evidence of a native Mac release.

Linux installation
The creator lists no native Linux build. Linux users can try the Windows package with Wine or use an Android-x86/emulation solution for the APK. Expect possible missing libraries, graphics-driver issues, executable-permission problems, archive errors and distribution-specific incompatibilities. The creator’s guide does not establish a universal command sequence for every Linux distribution, so avoid treating one setup as guaranteed.

There is no native iOS or iPadOS version. The creator’s Q&A cites technical and legal restrictions. It mentions mirroring a PC with software such as GlideX, which displays and controls the PC game remotely; it does not install the game on the iPhone.
“iOS APK” is incorrect terminology: APK is an Android package format. Treat sites using that phrase as a scam signal, and never provide an Apple ID, payment details, passcode, configuration-profile approval, enterprise certificate or jailbreak access for a supposed Gacha Nox download.

Troubleshooting
Android says “App not installed”
- Confirm the APK architecture matches the device.
- Check storage and delete any partial download.
- Redownload from the creator’s page.
- Restart the device and confirm the current browser or file manager may install unknown apps.
- If architecture is genuinely uncertain, try the other APK.
The creator’s troubleshooting notes are at this support page. Back up data before replacing an older installation.
The game crashes, freezes or displays artifacts
Restart, clear the app cache and verify the download source. The creator documents blend-mode rendering problems, square artifacts when many modded assets are combined, a sitting pose that requires a prop, and glitches involving some new poses. See the known-bugs list before reinstalling.
Windows extraction or launch fails
- Confirm the complete archive was downloaded and extracted.
- Try another extraction utility.
- Run Gacha Nebula.exe from the extracted folder.
- Review antivirus quarantine or protection history.
- Do not download replacement DLL files from unrelated sites.
Chromebook ADB fails
Check that Linux Development Environment and Android debugging are enabled, the APK is in Linux files, the connection was accepted, and the filename exactly matches the command. Multiple connected targets require the creator’s -s example. Administration policies can block the entire feature.
Updating Gacha Nebula
The creator says itch.io Android installations do not auto-update and that uninstalling the previous version is not required before installing an update. Because packaging and save behavior can change, export or back up your characters and saves before updating, then download the replacement only from the creator’s page.
The Bottom Line
There is no current official Gacha Nox download. For a supported installation, use the creator’s Gacha Nebula page: Android or Windows directly, Chromebook through the documented ADB method, macOS/Linux through emulation, and iPhone/iPad only through PC screen mirroring.
