Sign in to the Roblox account that should receive the reward, go to roblox.com/redeem, enter the code exactly as issued, and click Redeem. Roblox displays a success message when redemption works; the reward may be account credit, Robux, or a virtual item, depending on the code.
Redeem a Roblox promotional code
- Sign in to the Roblox account where you want the reward.
- Open Roblox’s official Redeem Roblox Codes page.
- Enter the code exactly as provided.
- Click Redeem and look for the success confirmation.
Roblox says promotional codes may come from events or giveaways. They can expire or be active only briefly, so redeem one promptly. Roblox’s support page does not provide a universal current list of active codes; check with the event or issuer rather than assuming an unverified third-party list is valid. See Roblox Support.
Can you redeem a code on a phone or console?
For most mobile users and console users, redemption is done in a web browser rather than the Roblox app or console. Samsung Galaxy users have an in-app exception: open More > Redeem. Roblox explains the platform options in its gift-card FAQ.
What kind of Roblox code do you have?
The same Roblox redemption page accepts gift-card, virtual-item, and promotional codes, but their sources and limits differ.

| Code type | Typical source | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Promotional code | Roblox event or giveaway | May expire or be available only for a short time; the reward depends on the code. |
| Gift-card code | Roblox gift card | Enter it on the redemption page. For visually similar characters, Roblox’s guide lists 0/O, 1/I, 2/Z, 5/S, 6/G or Q, and 8/B as pairs to check. |
| Toy or virtual-item code | A physical or digital partner promotion, such as a Jazwares figure, Nerf blaster, Monopoly, Prime Gaming, or Verizon offer | A virtual-item code can be redeemed to an individual account only once. If the item is already in that account’s inventory, it may have been redeemed previously. |
Roblox’s virtual-item guidance covers partner items and checking your inventory.
Why is a Roblox promo code not working?
- Check the account: Make sure you are signed in to the account that should receive the reward.
- Re-enter the code: Return to the redemption page and check the characters carefully.
- Consider timing: The code may have expired or may no longer be active.
- Check for an existing item: If the reward is a virtual item, look through the relevant Inventory category; the item may already be there.
- For gift-card or PIN entry, check similar characters: Roblox lists 0/O, 1/I, 2/Z, 5/S, 6/G or Q, and 8/B as possible lookalikes.
Where to find a redeemed item
After successful redemption, open the relevant Inventory category to find a virtual-item reward. If it is not visible, confirm that you redeemed the code on the intended account and check the category appropriate to the item.
