Trading requires a trade-enabled league; Solo Self-Found (SSF) disables these systems.
Which trading method should you use?

The official trade2 website and in-game Market Panel are ways to search player listings. They are distinct from Currency Exchange and the asynchronous Merchant’s Tab shop system.

Check your league before trading
Trading features require a trade-enabled league. Solo Self-Found disables trading, including Merchant’s Tab trading, and Currency Exchange is documented for non-SSF trade-enabled leagues. If the Market Panel or an NPC option is missing, check your character’s league mode before troubleshooting the interface. GGG’s Currency Exchange documentation and GGG’s Asynchronous Trade FAQ
How to exchange currency and supported assets
Use Faustus for Currency Exchange. It handles currencies and other supported, exchange-listed stackable assets, not ordinary equipment. GGG’s documented selectable categories include currencies, fragments, divination cards, fossils, resonators, omens, and items eligible for an extra slot in a Currency Stash Tab. Availability is limited to the categories the interface supports.

- Go to Faustus and open Currency Exchange.
- Set “I Want” to the asset you want to receive and “I Have” to the asset you will give.
- Choose the quantities, then place an order or fill an available one.
Do not use a Merchant’s Tab for currency: GGG says the tab is only for items unavailable on Currency Exchange, and its FAQ explicitly excludes currency items. GGG’s Asynchronous Trade FAQ
How to find and buy equipment through trade2
For gear, unique items, and other items outside Currency Exchange, search the official trade2 website or the in-game Market Panel. - Open trade2 or the Market Panel and select your active league.
- Filter for the item type and, where relevant, level, modifiers, sockets, and price.
- Compare listings, then verify the exact base, item name, modifiers, sockets, quantity, and requested price in the trade confirmation window before accepting.
Checking the confirmation details helps catch an incorrect selection or a listing that is no longer available. League selection matters: listings from another league may not be relevant to your character.

Merchant’s Tabs let other players buy listed items even when the seller is offline. They are intended for items not available on Currency Exchange. Put an eligible item in the tab, set its price individually, and allow the listing to index. The buyer pays the gold fee for the purchase; the seller has no listing gold fee. Collect sale proceeds from the Earnings Tab at the hideout shop NPC. GGG’s Asynchronous Trade FAQ

Tab price and listing rules
- GGG listed a single Merchant’s Tab at 40 points and a bundle of six at 200 points in its August 25, 2025 FAQ. These are the stated prices in that FAQ; check the in-game store for current availability and pricing. GGG’s Asynchronous Trade FAQ
- Each item needs its own price; there is no whole-tab buyout price.
- If multiple buyers try to purchase the same listing, GGG says, “The first player to complete the trade will get it.”
GGG said eligible Premium Stash Tabs that players already owned could be converted when the system launched; future purchases follow Merchant’s Tab rules. GGG’s Asynchronous Trade FAQ
When direct player-to-player trade makes sense
Use direct trade for an agreed one-off exchange when both players are present, especially if the item does not suit Currency Exchange or an asynchronous listing. Coordinate through the party and hideout flow, place the agreed items in the trade window, and inspect both sides before accepting. Be cautious with unsolicited offers or pressure to confirm quickly.
