Both Battlefield 6 editions include the base game. Phantom adds a Battlefield Pro token with 25 tier skips, a bundle of named cosmetics and weapon packages, and XP boosts. EA announced US launch-era prices of $69.99 for Standard and $99.99 for Phantom in 2025, but those are not guaranteed current prices; check your platform’s live store or retailer before buying.

What comes with Standard Edition?
Standard Edition includes the Battlefield 6 base game. EA Help also lists a Tombstone preorder pack offer for Standard: a soldier skin and Tombstone XP Boost Set. That is preorder entitlement context, not a promise that every current Standard purchase includes the pack. Confirm any bonus shown on the specific retailer or platform listing before checkout.
What comes with Phantom Edition?
Phantom includes the base game plus these add-ons, as named by EA:

EA also associates the Tombstone soldier skin and XP Boost Set with Phantom preorder entitlement. Treat that as a preorder offer, separate from the core Phantom contents, and check the seller’s offer terms.
Is Phantom Edition worth the extra cost?
The decision depends on whether you want Phantom’s extras, not on access to a different base game: both editions include Battlefield 6. Phantom bundles cosmetics, XP boosts, and Battle Pass progression through its Battlefield Pro token. Standard is the simpler comparison point if you want the base game without those listed extras; Phantom may suit you if you value the specific cosmetics and progression bundle at the current price premium. That is a contents-based comparison, not a measured value assessment.

EA says gameplay-impacting post-launch content—including weapons, gadgets, and maps—will be free or earnable and will not require players to spend money. Read EA’s Battlefield 6 FAQ. The edition choice therefore does not, on EA’s stated policy, buy exclusive access to that gameplay-impacting content.

Platforms and access requirements
EA lists Battlefield 6 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, the EA app, and Epic Games Store, with digital and retail availability. EA’s FAQ says Steam players need an EA account but not the EA app; Epic purchasers need both the EA app and an EA account. EA’s purchase-page terms state that persistent internet is required to play and Phantom content requires redemption of a single-use code; account and platform conditions may also apply. Check the terms for the edition and storefront you are buying from.
The game launched on October 10, 2025, according to EA’s FAQ. EA’s FAQ also covers platforms and account requirements.
