Selected Call of Duty games have come to GeForce NOW, but the 2023 announcement that prompted headlines about “Call of Duty, More Titles Coming to GeForce NOW” did not make the whole franchise instantly playable. Microsoft and NVIDIA announced a 10-year agreement on February 21, 2023; individual games appeared later, and access still depends on the exact title, storefront or subscription, region, and your game entitlement. A GeForce NOW membership streams supported games—it does not automatically include every game.
What Microsoft and NVIDIA announced
On February 21, 2023, Microsoft and NVIDIA announced a 10-year agreement intended to bring Xbox PC games and Activision Blizzard PC games—including Call of Duty—to GeForce NOW. The agreement was tied to Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard. It established a broad licensing and service-integration arrangement, not an immediate listing of every Xbox or Activision title in GeForce NOW. The announcement coverage described the agreement, but each game still needed its own technical and storefront integration and had to become available in the service catalog.
That distinction matters: a licensing agreement can make streaming possible without confirming a launch date, supported storefront, regional availability, edition, or permanent catalog listing for a particular game.
Which Call of Duty games have been associated with GeForce NOW?
The titles below were identified in reports or NVIDIA announcements through January 2026. Treat this as a dated record, not a guarantee that every listing remains available in every country today. Search the live GeForce NOW catalog for the exact game and storefront before buying a game or subscription.

These announcements do not establish that every Call of Duty release, edition, DLC pack, or multiplayer feature is supported. The live catalog is the deciding check.
Do you need to buy the game again?
GeForce NOW is a streaming service that connects supported PC game stores and subscriptions; it is not a library that automatically grants every game. NVIDIA lists supported connections that include Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, PC Game Pass, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.net, EA app, and Xbox. NVIDIA’s service page describes the connect-to-your-library model.

- If the GeForce NOW listing uses a store where you already own the supported PC version, you generally launch through that account.
- A GeForce NOW membership alone does not grant ownership of a paid game.
- A console copy does not necessarily grant the PC version or entitlement needed by a GeForce NOW listing.
- If a title is offered through an eligible subscription, that subscription—not GeForce NOW by itself—provides the relevant access while the entitlement remains active.
Check the exact store badge on the game’s GeForce NOW page before purchasing: ownership on one storefront may not transfer to another.
What Ubisoft+ Premium changes
NVIDIA identified Modern Warfare II and Modern Warfare III among select Activision games accessible through Ubisoft+ Premium. This may provide an alternative to buying those listed titles individually, but it is a separate subscription path and does not mean that Ubisoft+ includes every Activision or Call of Duty game. Verify the current Ubisoft+ catalog, regional offer, and account-linking requirements before subscribing; the availability announcement does not establish a current subscription price.

How to check and launch the right version
- Create or sign in to a GeForce NOW account, then choose a membership tier that suits your use—or try Free if its limits work for you.
- In the GeForce NOW app or web interface, search for the exact Call of Duty title.
- Open the listing and check its storefront or subscription badge. If more than one version appears, match it to the account and edition you own.
- Connect the required store or service account in GeForce NOW’s account settings, then confirm ownership or an active eligible subscription with that provider.
- Launch the listing and complete any store or publisher-account sign-in prompts. If it fails, recheck the selected store version and entitlement.
Interface labels and account-linking steps can change. Use the listing shown in your current app rather than assuming that a news announcement specifies today’s exact launch flow.
Will GeForce NOW feel right for Call of Duty?
Cloud play can let you stream a supported PC game to devices such as PCs, Macs, phones, tablets, TVs, handhelds, and other supported hardware, without installing the game locally. Whether it suits Call of Duty depends heavily on your network and tolerance for streaming latency. For ranked or highly competitive play, even a sharp, high-frame-rate stream may feel less immediate than a local installation.

- Simplistic Design: Enjoy the latest generation of Windows 11 Home for your everyday needs. *MSI recommends Windows 11 Pro for business use.
- Cool While Gaming: In conjunction with an ARGB fan Air Cooler, the Codex R2 features four system cooling fans; three in the front and one in the rear to pull in cool air and push heat out of the PC.
- Turn on the Bright Lights: With the built-in RGB lighting, take your gaming experience to the next level by pressing the MSI LED button to cycle through lighting options. Customize lighting even further with MSI Center software.
- Prioritize stability and latency. NVIDIA recommends wired networking or 5 GHz Wi-Fi and less than 80 ms latency to a GeForce NOW data center. That is a service recommendation, not a guarantee that a connection will feel responsive in a competitive match.
- Use a clean network path. Ethernet is preferable where practical. Avoid saturated Wi-Fi, large downloads, VPN routing, and background streaming when testing a match.
- Match bandwidth to stream mode. NVIDIA lists approximate bandwidth targets from 15 Mbps for HD at 60 fps to 65 Mbps for 5K at 120 fps. These are targets for particular streaming modes, not promises of low input delay or uninterrupted performance.
- Consider the limits of cloud play. Region, server load, device, network route, and membership tier can affect the experience. Data caps, unstable Wi-Fi, high latency, and the need for offline play can make the service a poor fit.
See NVIDIA’s system requirements for device and network guidance. Its membership tiers differ in advertised resolution, frame rate, queue priority, session length, and features; higher tiers do not remove the need for a game entitlement. NVIDIA’s membership details describe those features. U.S. marketplace prices observed on August 18, 2026, were $9.99 monthly or $99.99 annually for Performance, $19.99 monthly or $199.99 annually for Ultimate, and $3.99 for a Performance Day Pass or $7.99 for an Ultimate Day Pass; an ad-supported Free tier was also listed. Prices and availability can vary by country, tax, promotion, and billing channel. NVIDIA’s U.S. marketplace is the cited pricing source.

The title appears in search but is unavailable to you
- Check whether the listing is for a different storefront from the one where you own the game.
- Confirm that you own the PC version; a console-only entitlement may not qualify.
- Check that the game is listed in your region and that any subscription entitlement is active.
- Make sure the selected edition matches the purchase and that the title has not been temporarily disabled or removed.
Open the listing details, confirm its store badge, verify ownership or subscription status directly with the provider, then reconnect the account if its authorization appears stale. If the correct version still will not launch, check NVIDIA’s current catalog and service status rather than assuming the original agreement guarantees access.

The game launches, but multiplayer or content behaves differently
Publisher sign-in, anti-cheat or platform restrictions, edition mismatches, network latency or packet loss, unsupported mods or overlays, and regional account or matchmaking limits can all affect play. A catalog listing does not guarantee that every DLC package, mod, mode, peripheral utility, or competitive feature will behave exactly as it does on a local PC.
