Castlevania: Symphony of the Night: best classic Metroidvania
This mobile version brings Alucard’s exploration of Dracula’s castle to Android. Instead of moving through only discrete stages, you explore, backtrack, find equipment, and build your character. The U.S.-dollar Google Play listing showed a $2.99 price. The listing also describes controller compatibility, save states, and achievements; a separate Google Play listing describes six supported languages. These are port features, not a promise that every detail matches the original console release. The observed listing included an Android 16 compatibility update and a minor bug fix; compatibility can change with later app and operating-system versions. Choose it for classic exploration, not for modern presentation or a guaranteed ideal touchscreen interface.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night: modern gothic alternative
Bloodstained is the modern gothic action-RPG option in this set, with a large exploration-led world and character progression. It was included in the earlier Android roundup as a spiritual successor to Castlevania, but its current Android price, availability, update status, and compatibility were not established in the available store information. Super Mario Run: best casual pick
