The Logitech G Pro X SE has repeatedly appeared at $69.99, $30 below the $99.99 reference price used in deal coverage. That makes the offer plausible, but it is not confirmed as live: check the seller and final checkout price before buying. At that price, the wired headset is most appealing to PC gamers who want a detachable microphone and USB sound card.
Is the $69.99 Logitech G Pro X SE deal live?
The exact product is the black Logitech G Pro X SE Wired Gaming Headset, model 981-001469, Amazon ASIN B0CW34HBKZ. Its Amazon product page identifies the SE model and its accessories, but the accessible listing information does not confirm a current $69.99 checkout offer. Treat that figure as a recently observed price, not a guaranteed live promotion.
The price is credible: Notebookcheck reported $69.99 against a $99.99 reference price, and 9to5Toys covered an earlier offer at the same price. A price-history tracker recorded $69.99 on July 29, 2026, and a lower historical low of $66.26. That tracker is not a retailer, so it cannot establish what you will pay today. The record also does not prove that $99.99 is the headset’s usual street price. (Notebookcheck; 9to5Toys; PriceHistory.)
If the checkout shows $69.99, that is $30 below $99.99, or about 30% off that reference price. Earlier deal coverage has marked comparable offers expired, so verify the final price, seller, and condition rather than relying on a headline or a saved product page.

What comes with the G Pro X SE?
The listed package includes the wired headset, detachable 6 mm boom microphone, external USB sound card, 2-meter cable with inline volume and mute controls, and a Y-splitter. The headset uses PRO-G 50 mm drivers, memory-foam ear pads with a leatherette covering, and a steel headband with aluminum forks. Notebookcheck reports a weight of 320 g (0.7 lb). Check the listing’s contents carefully if the item is open-box, used, or renewed; a missing USB sound card changes the value for PC buyers.
Logitech describes Blue VO!CE microphone processing and DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround features for the headset’s USB audio path. These are processing options, not guarantees of broadcast-quality voice or better spatial accuracy in every game. Amazon’s product listing provides the model and accessory details; Notebookcheck’s deal report describes the hardware and weight.

What works on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch?
The 3.5 mm analog connection gives the headset broad compatibility with devices that have a compatible headset jack, including many PCs, controllers, PlayStation and Xbox systems, and the Nintendo Switch. Compatibility through that jack is not the same as access to every feature.
- On Windows PC: The USB sound card is the route for the headset’s PC-focused audio features. Logitech G HUB is relevant for EQ and microphone processing; USB, software, and feature support may vary by setup.
- On consoles and other 3.5 mm devices: Expect basic wired headset functionality through the analog jack. Do not assume G HUB, Blue VO!CE processing, stored PC EQ profiles, or DTS processing will carry over.
- On any platform: There is no wireless connection. You will need to manage the cable, and the device must expose a compatible connection.
Is it a good gaming headset at this price?
At a verified $69.99, it is a sensible option for a PC player who prefers a wired setup and will use the USB sound card, EQ, or microphone controls. Wired operation means no headset battery to charge. The detachable mic is practical if you sometimes use the headset without it, while EQ and surround options let PC users adjust the sound. Those tools may help with game audio, but they do not guarantee more accurate footsteps or a competitive advantage.

- Pro Gaming Headset: Based on the award-winning PRO X Gaming Headset, the new PRO X 2 was collaboratively designed with and for pro gamers to help them win
- Clear Audio: 50mm Graphene drivers provide clear and immersive audio with low distortion—capturing the entire soundscape of the game with audio cues like footsteps and actions
- Long Battery Life and Range: Equipped with pro-grade Logitech LIGHTSPEED wireless technology, with up to 50 hours of battery life (2) and up to 30m of 2.4 GHz wireless range (2)
- Comfortable: These noise-isolating headphones have rotating, durable hinge and rotating soft memory foam earpads—available in leatherette or breathable velour
- Connectivity: LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth and 3.5mm Aux Cord for connectivity options; USB-A to USB-C cable, USB-A Dongle with 3.5mm port, 3.5mm audio cable included
For a console-first buyer who will connect only by 3.5 mm, the main draw is the wired headset and detachable mic—not the full PC software feature set. If those software features are the reason you are paying extra, make sure your intended connection and platform support them.
What are the trade-offs?
- Cable-bound use: There is no wireless or Bluetooth option, which can be inconvenient for couch gaming or a cable-free desk.
- PC-centric extras: The USB sound card and G HUB-based controls are most relevant on Windows; console use over 3.5 mm is more basic.
- Heat and fit: Leatherette-covered pads can feel warm during long sessions. At 320 g, the headset is not exceptionally light, and fit depends on head shape, glasses, and tolerance for clamp pressure.
- No active noise cancellation: The ear cups may provide passive isolation, but this is not an ANC headset.
- Marketplace uncertainty: An older product can appear through third-party sellers, with different condition, return terms, warranty eligibility, or prices. Best Buy has surfaced a $169.99 third-party listing, a reminder that a marketplace page is not evidence of a good deal. See its G Pro X SE listing.
How to check the listing before you buy
- Confirm the identity: Look for “PRO X SE,” model 981-001469, and, on Amazon, ASIN B0CW34HBKZ. Do not confuse it with the regular G Pro X or G Pro X 2.
- Check the offer itself: Confirm the displayed price carries through checkout, including any shipping, coupon, or membership conditions. No expiration date is established for the offer.
- Inspect seller and condition: Prefer Amazon, Logitech, or a reputable retailer. Check whether the unit is new, used, renewed, or open-box, plus its return terms and warranty eligibility.
- Check what is included: For a complete set, verify the detachable microphone, USB sound card, cable, and Y-splitter are included.
- Match the product to your setup: Make sure you have a compatible 3.5 mm jack or, for PC-focused features, can use the USB sound card and relevant software. Black is the color identified in the historical deal coverage; do not assume another color has the same price.
The Amazon listing shows a one-year limited hardware warranty in its product information, but coverage can depend on region, seller, and purchase eligibility. Confirm the terms that apply to the item you are ordering.

Should you buy it or choose something else?
Buy the G Pro X SE if it is new, complete, from a seller you trust, and actually costs about $69.99—and if a wired headset with PC audio controls matches your needs. Above roughly $80–$90, its value is less compelling without a meaningful extra, especially when seller and condition are uncertain.
Skip it if you require wireless or Bluetooth, active noise cancellation, a particularly light headset, or an uncomplicated console headset and have no use for PC software features. For another Logitech option, the G Pro X Wired Gaming Headset, 2nd Generation is a separate model, 981-001673—not the SE. Best Buy has surfaced prices of $129.99 and, in some page variants, a $99.99 promotion; check its current listing if you are considering it. It is a higher-priced route, not a like-for-like confirmation that the SE deal is available.
