Kasumi Yoshizawa’s Faith Confidant starts automatically during the 30 May clean-up story event. To preserve her full route, reach Faith Rank 5 by 22 December, then complete Councillor (Maruki) Rank 9 by 17 November so Rank 6 can open on 13 January. Her meetings are easy to miss because they appear irregularly, so accept invitations whenever she is available.
How the Faith Confidant works
Kasumi represents the Faith Arcana and is first encountered in Kichijoji during the daytime after the 30 May event. Before 13 January she generally appears on Wednesdays and Thursdays; after 13 January, she can appear on weekdays. The schedule is not guaranteed, so a missed invitation may not return before the deadline.

- Safe Rank 5 deadline: 22 December. Some walkthroughs list 23 December, but finishing by 22 December gives you the safer margin.
- Third-semester requirement: Councillor Rank 9 by 17 November. Without that milestone, Faith progression beyond Rank 5 will not unlock.
- Affinity tip: Carry a Faith Persona whenever you spend time with Kasumi. Matching the Arcana increases the affinity points earned from dialogue choices.

Rank 1 is the automatic 30 May story event; each choice there is effectively neutral. The answers below are the recommended route for the remaining pre-third-semester meetings.

The friendship choice keeps Kasumi as a close ally; the romance choices establish a romantic relationship. Decide before selecting the Rank 9 response, since the branches lead to different outcomes.

Efficient completion plan
- Start on 30 May: The opening event requires no special dialogue management.
- Prioritize Wednesday and Thursday invitations: Before 13 January these are her usual appearance days, and a skipped date may not recur.
- Use a Faith Persona: This improves affinity gains and reduces the number of spare meetings needed.
- Finish Rank 5 by 22 December: Treat 22 December as the practical cutoff rather than relying on the later date reported by some guides.
- Secure Maruki’s Councillor Rank 9 by 17 November: This is the gate for Rank 6 and the rest of the third-semester route.
- Resume on 13 January: Complete Ranks 6–10, then continue to the late-semester awakening.
