Start with an interactive map set to your active scenario, then confirm the target’s route in the game: locations can differ by scenario, event, and server.
Choose a location map for your active scenario
The interactive Once Human Deviations map by The Hidden Gaming Lair offers spawn points, a progress tracker, tips, and coordinate highlighting. Its publisher reported 2,475 known Deviations across seven maps and an update date of September 29, 2026; that is the guide’s coverage claim, not an official total or a guarantee that every entry applies to your server.
Select the map matching the scenario you are playing. The guide lists separate options for:
- Manibus & Evolution’s Call
- Prismverse’s Clash
- The Way of Winter
- Raids & Dungeons
- Endless Dream
- Deviation Secure
- Starter Tutorial
Do not assume a coordinate on one scenario’s map is valid in another. Before traveling, check the scenario selection and the map’s target-specific notes.

Confirm the location in game
Use in-game navigation when it is available, particularly for event targets and the dedicated Deviation scenario. Official event information says Aberrant Progeny vision locations are marked with map pins. The official Survive, Capture, Preserve scenario also provides habitat information through its Symbiosis System. These aids are scenario-specific, not a universal location overlay for every Deviation.
For the dedicated scenario, the developer describes Deviations as having distinct ecosystems and habits; players discover habitats and craft special capture tools. Those mechanics should not be presumed to apply unchanged in other scenarios. For a precise target, compare the external map entry with the current in-game guide or map before setting out.

Why Pollution Zone coordinates can vary
Pollution Zones are a particular reason not to treat a static coordinate list as universal. In the January 21, 2026 version 2.3.1 update announcement, the developers said scenario servers, except RaidZone, randomly generate Pollution Zones. Their locations and quantities are unique by server; on a new server, positions and types are fixed after generation. A route or count recorded for another server may therefore not match yours.
Tell a companion Deviation from a Deviant Sprout
A captured companion and a Deviant Sprout are different things. Official materials describe Sprouts as temporary ability-origin items, not permanent companions. The January 2026 developer blog reports 12 types of Deviant Sprouts. If a result or guide mentions a Sprout, do not mistake it for a companion you can collect and keep.

Use coordinates as leads, not guarantees
Available map coverage is useful for discovery, but it does not establish a verified route for every individual target. The official materials also describe event markers and server-generated zones, so a coordinate alone may not tell you whether a location is fixed, event-based, or server-dependent. Check the target entry and current scenario context before relying on a specific capture route.

The official January 19, 2026 Aberrant Progeny announcement is useful for that event’s vision-location pins; it is not a general catalog of every companion’s acquisition method. Likewise, the official October 24, 2025 scenario launch blog explains the dedicated scenario’s habitat and capture systems, but launch-era details may have changed.
