As of September 30, 2026, the available checks do not confirm a US retailer with a new PS5 Pro ready to ship to every buyer. Best Buy’s product page showed the $899.99 console unavailable at the selected location; a September 17 roundup listed several major retailers as out of new stock. Availability can differ by ZIP code and change quickly, so verify the offer at checkout before traveling or paying.
Where PS5 Pro stock stands today
This is a US availability snapshot, not a guarantee of nationwide inventory. Best Buy’s PS5 Pro 2TB listing showed the console as unavailable for the selected location when checked September 30, 2026. Best Buy lists it at $899.99; that is a retailer-listed reference price, not a market-wide price guarantee. Its listing also says the stand is sold separately. Best Buy’s PS5 Pro listing

A Tom’s Guide roundup updated September 17 reported no new consoles at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, or PlayStation Direct. It noted limited pre-owned GameStop inventory that varied by location. That report predates today’s date and is not a live stock check. Tom’s Guide retailer roundup
A separate tracker showed Best Buy stock at a high price, no stock at PlayStation Direct, Walmart, Amazon, and GameStop, and paused tracking for Target. Its timestamps are unclear, so treat it as a lead to check—not proof of current availability. Retail stock tracker

Retailers to check before buying
- Best Buy: The selected-location page showed unavailable on September 30. Enter your ZIP code to see whether another nearby store or delivery option differs. Check Best Buy’s PS5 Pro listing
- PlayStation Direct: Sony has an active US product page, but the page checked did not give a readable current stock status or restock date. Check PlayStation Direct
- Amazon, Walmart, and Target: The September 17 roundup reported them out of new stock; confirm their current listings directly because inventory may have changed. Review the retailer roundup
- GameStop: The roundup reported limited pre-owned inventory that varied by location. Check the condition and local fulfillment details carefully. Review GameStop availability notes
How to evaluate an offer
If a listing appears, check these details on the actual retailer or seller page before placing an order:
- Condition: Confirm whether the console is new, pre-owned, refurbished, or open-box.
- Seller: Distinguish the retailer itself from a marketplace seller.
- Total price: Compare the checkout total with Best Buy’s $899.99 listed price, while recognizing that this is one retailer’s listing rather than a guaranteed standard price.
- ZIP-specific fulfillment: Check pickup or shipping availability and the promised delivery date for your address.
- Returns and warranty: Read the terms for that exact seller and condition; do not assume marketplace offers share the retailer’s policies.
Marketplace listings may appear when direct retailer inventory is unavailable. A high-priced listing is not evidence of ordinary retail stock or the standard price. Treat stock, delivery estimates, and the final price as checkout-time facts.

What is not confirmed
No US restock date was confirmed in the available checks. Sony Direct’s page did not expose a readable stock state, and the September 17 roundup is not current enough to establish what is available nationwide on September 30. A report about a lottery-based shortage response in Japan concerns that market only and does not establish US retailer availability. Japan shortage report
