What is the current Umamusume banner?
Two Spotlight Scouts are live globally: a trainee scout and a support-card scout. Both opened at 22:00 UTC on September 28 and share the same closing time.

|---|---|---|---|
| Spotlight Pretty Derby Scout | September 28, 2026 22:00 – October 12, 2026 21:59 | ★★★ [Fiery Aqua Vitae] Vodka ★★★ [Nuit Étoilée de Scarlet] Daiwa Scarlet |

Spotlighted trainees and support cards have increased appearance rates during their respective Scouts. When you obtain a spotlighted 3-star trainee, including through Trainee Exchange Points, you receive an additional 90 Star Pieces for that trainee.
When does the current banner end?
The current Spotlight Pretty Derby Scout and Spotlight Support Card Scout end on October 12, 2026, at 21:59 UTC. Convert that time to your region because the in-game countdown is the practical final check. The official notice says schedules and contents are subject to change without notice.
What happens to exchange points?
Trainee Exchange Points and Support Card Exchange Points earned from these Spotlight Scouts cannot be carried into a future Scout or another Scout running at the same time. Any unused points automatically convert to Clovers after the Scout ends.

Who is the next Umamusume banner?
No next global banner is confirmed in the official information available for this update. The safest answer is therefore: the next banner has not been officially announced. Treat any date shown on a third-party schedule as provisional until the game publishes its notice.
What is the difference between “next” and “upcoming”?
Next banner
“Next” means the banner expected to start immediately after the current Scout ends. For this schedule, that means the Scout following October 12, 2026, at 21:59 UTC. Its featured characters, cards, and exact start time are not confirmed here.
Upcoming banners
“Upcoming” is broader: it can include any future banner listed in a forecast, datamine, calendar, or prior pattern, even when another banner comes first. An upcoming listing is not an official guarantee and can reflect a different regional schedule or an outdated update boundary.
Why do schedule sites show different dates?
Third-party calendars currently display conflicting snapshots. Umatools shows Christmas Vodka/Daiwa Scarlet and Narita Brian/Air Groove dates of September 22–October 6, 2026, while Prydwen’s Global page shows a September 23–October 4 update window. Those ranges do not match the September 28–October 12 period in the official notice.
Possible reasons include a lagging calendar, a prior schedule snapshot, or a different definition of the update window. Use the official in-game notice as the authority for the live global Scout, and use third-party pages only as unconfirmed planning references.

Should you spend Carats on the current Scouts?
Decide based on your roster and exchange-point plan rather than an unconfirmed future date.
- Pull the trainee Scout if Vodka or Daiwa Scarlet fills a role you need and you can reach a meaningful exchange decision before October 12.
- Pull the support Scout if the featured Narita Brian or Air Groove cards address a specific deck weakness; support-card value depends on your existing collection and limit breaks.
- Hold Carats if you are saving for an unannounced banner, cannot use the featured units, or would leave exchange points unused.
- Play the story event regardless of Scout plans if you want its story episodes, Event Points, and event-exclusive SSR Support Card copies.
Before confirming a pull, check the Scout’s remaining time, the displayed exchange-point total, and the current in-game rates. The 90-Star-Piece bonus applies to each spotlighted 3-star trainee obtained during this Scout, including an exchange acquisition.
