The Haligtree Secret Medallion halves are in two regions: the right half comes from Old Albus in the Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes, and the left half is found beyond Commander Niall at Castle Sol in the Mountaintops of the Giants. Bring both to the Grand Lift of Rold and choose the secret-medallion option to reach the Consecrated Snowfield.
Where to find the right half
Village of the Albinaurics, Liurnia of the Lakes
- Travel to the Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes.
- Look for a large pot that is actually Old Albus in disguise. Strike the pot to reveal him.
- Speak with Old Albus to receive the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right).
Where to find the left half
Castle Sol, Mountaintops of the Giants
- Enter Castle Sol and make your way through the castle toward Commander Niall. You can fight or run past other enemies along the way.
- Defeat Commander Niall to open the route onward through the castle.
- Continue beyond the boss arena by the elevator and rooftop route. Collect the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Left) from the rooftop tower.
How to use both halves at the Grand Lift of Rold
- With both halves collected, travel to the Grand Lift of Rold.
- At the lift prompt, switch from the ordinary medallion action to the secret-medallion option.
- Hoist the reunited halves. The lift takes you to the Consecrated Snowfield, which provides the route onward toward Miquella’s Haligtree.
The left-half item description explains that brandishing the conjoined halves activates the Grand Lift of Rold and grants access to a hidden path toward Miquella’s Haligtree.
