What Firefly does
Firefly is a five-star Fire character on the Destruction path. Her 240-energy Ultimate enters Complete Combustion, enhancing her Basic ATK and Skill, applying Fire Weakness and greatly increasing her ability to break Toughness. The transformation is the center of her rotation: build energy, activate Complete Combustion as soon as practical, then use enhanced attacks while allies keep Break and Super Break amplification active.
Her damage is most reliable against enemies whose Toughness can be removed quickly. Teams therefore value Break amplification, Weakness implantation or coverage, Skill Point economy and enough sustain to keep the combustion cycle running.
Important Eidolons
- E1: Enhanced Skill ignores 15% of the target’s DEF and costs no Skill Point.
- E2: During Complete Combustion, Firefly can gain one extra turn after defeating an enemy or inflicting a Weakness Break, once per turn.

HSR-BUILD’s 2026 ranking puts the signature cone at 117.76% relative damage at S1. That number is a ranking comparison, not an absolute damage guarantee; enemy weaknesses, buffs, relic quality and team composition change the result.

Farm SPD until you reach the combat breakpoint supplied by your team and buffs, then prioritize Break Effect% and ATK%. HSR-BUILD lists 210 SPD fully buffed as a target. Treat that as an in-combat goal rather than a requirement on the character sheet: support buffs and temporary effects are part of the calculation.

Trace priority and materials
- Level the Ultimate first, because Complete Combustion controls her enhanced attacks and Break pressure.
- Raise the Skill and Talent next.
- Level the Basic ATK last.
HSR-BUILD lists 65 Raging Heart materials for her ascension. Check the in-game material screen for the remaining trace and credit requirements, which depend on your current upgrade level.
How to play Firefly
Basic rotation
- Use supports to establish their buffs, debuffs and Weakness coverage while Firefly builds toward her 240 energy Ultimate.
- Enter Complete Combustion as soon as the team is ready; delaying the transformation generally delays the part of her kit that breaks Toughness fastest.
- Use the enhanced Skill and Basic ATK to deplete Toughness and trigger Break or Super Break damage.
- Keep ally amplification active and spend Skill Points according to the team’s economy rather than forcing every support to use a Skill each turn.
- Repeat the energy-building cycle after Complete Combustion ends.
Firefly’s E2 can extend this sequence with an extra turn after a defeat or Weakness Break, so targeting an enemy close to a break or kill can produce more value than attacking a full-Toughness target.

There is no single permanent answer because new supports and patch changes alter the value of Break, SPD, energy and Skill Points. The following teams represent different 2026 guide recommendations.
Premium option A: Firefly, Ruan Mei, Fugue, Lingsha

Eneba’s 2026 guide ranks this version highly because The Dahlia addresses several practical constraints at once. Choose it over the Ruan Mei version when your roster and the active patch favor those utility effects.

Patch context and damage expectations
Firefly’s rankings are version-sensitive. HSR-BUILD’s August 28, 2026 update rephrases rankings based on measured play from Prydwen, while Eneba and Icy Veins evaluate different patch contexts. Icy Veins describes an approximately 70% DPS increase from the Patch 4.2 Novaflare update; that is the guide’s patch-specific estimate, not a universal benchmark for every account or enemy.
Use the 210 fully buffed SPD target, cone rankings and team order as current reference points rather than permanent rules. A later support, enemy lineup or balance change can make a different combination preferable.
