The Hatch was Roblox’s 2025 egg hunt, and it is over. It ran from July 2 through July 12, 2025 (starting at 10:00 a.m. PT). During the event, players entered a coastal hub, traveled through portals to participating experiences, found 100 themed eggs, and returned to trade or merge duplicates. Completing all ten eggs in an elemental theme unlocked a hatchable egg and an exclusive avatar reward. Roblox’s listing now reports no running experiences.
What The Hatch 2025 was
Roblox and Xbox Wire described The Hatch as “100 uniquely themed eggs scattered across hundreds of participating experiences.” The hunt used ten elemental themes: Connection, Light, Darkness, Fire, Earth, Water, Energy, Time, Ice and Air. Roblox’s official experience description called it “the largest ever built on Roblox.”
The game roster below is the list published in a July 3, 2025 guide. Participation could change while the event was live, so treat it as a historical list rather than a current Roblox roster. Major experiences including Doors and Piggy opted out after controversy, according to that guide.
How to play (when the event was live)
- Open the official The Hatch experience. Enter its event hub.
- Choose a biome and portal. Walk to a portal and select a listed participating experience.
- Launch from the Hatch hub. The guide says starting the game through the hub was required to summon its event egg.
- Complete that experience’s egg task. Some eggs were placed in the map; others required a quest, challenge or minigame.
- Return to the hub. Inspect your collection, trade duplicate eggs with other players, or merge duplicates.
- Finish a theme. Collect all ten eggs in one elemental set to unlock its hatchable egg and avatar reward.
Because the event ended on July 12, 2025 and the official listing currently shows no running experiences, these steps are historical rather than a way to earn the rewards today.

Rewards and what remains available
The official announcement confirms an exclusive avatar reward for completing each elemental theme’s hatchable egg. It does not name every reward item, so specific “leaked” item lists should not be treated as official confirmation. There was no published independent participation total or official breakdown of how many players completed the hunt.
The Hatch was a free-to-play digital event. Roblox gift cards, consoles, controllers and headsets were optional purchases, not requirements for collecting eggs. With the event closed and its listing showing no running experiences, new players cannot follow the original route to earn the 2025 rewards.
