Nine entries are reportedly listed as leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 15, 2026. The list was reported by Insider Gaming on October 2, citing the Xbox app’s “Leaving Soon” section; it is not a directly verified Microsoft announcement, so check your own app for the latest status and platform availability.
Which games are leaving Xbox Game Pass in October?
Insider Gaming reported that these nine entries appeared in the Xbox app’s “Leaving Soon” section, with October 15, 2026 given as their departure date:
- Superball
- Donut County
- A Plague Tale: Requiem
- Nova Roma (Game Preview)
- Crime Scene Cleaner
- Evil West (Windows)
- The Casting of Frank Stone
- Pacific Drive
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
The list and date come from Insider Gaming’s October 2, 2026 report, which attributes the information to the Xbox app. Catalog listings can change, and the report does not establish the exact time removals take effect.
What should you check before October 15?
- Confirm your platform: The report specifically labels Evil West as the Windows entry. It does not independently establish which other listed games are affected on console or cloud. Check the “Leaving Soon” section in the Xbox app on the platform you use.
- Check what the Superball listing means: The report includes Superball but does not clarify whether the game itself leaves the catalog or an associated Game Pass benefit ends. Do not assume the free-to-play game becomes unavailable.
- Verify the date in the app: Before planning a play session or purchase, confirm that the game is still listed and check the departure date shown for your account and platform.
How to decide what to play first
If you have limited time, use the list to identify games you already want to play, then check their current availability and prioritize according to your own interest and schedule. The report provides no completion-time estimates or basis for ranking the titles, so it cannot say which one is quickest to finish.
