Are the E-Day accessories or companion book required?
No. Xbox Wire names an official companion book, The Art and Making of Gears of War: E-Day, a limited-edition Xbox Wireless Controller, and 8BitDo’s E-Day Retro 87 keyboard and Retro R8 mouse. These are optional merchandise and accessories, not prerequisites for playing. The book is for readers interested in the game’s art and development; it does not provide game access.

- This renewed game has been cleaned, tested, and shows minimal wear.
Could Gears of War: E-Day come to PS5 later?
The official platform pages establish what Xbox and the Gears of War site currently list; they do not establish a permanent policy against a future PS5 release. Unless an official announcement adds PS5, treat Xbox Series X|S and PC as the confirmed platforms and do not mistake cloud streaming for a PS5 version.
