Fortnite’s Item Shop rotates, but Epic does not promise when a particular skin or cosmetic will return. The Shop shows its rotation time in your time zone, and individual listings can show a planned exit date. Bundle prices can also change based on what your account already owns, so check the offer shown to you before buying.
When does Fortnite’s Item Shop refresh?
Epic says the Shop constantly rotates. It removed the single overall refresh timer and instead shows the rotation time in each player’s time zone. See Epic’s April 9, 2024 announcement and use the time displayed in your own Shop rather than relying on a fixed local clock time.
Epic support also says the in-game Shop and Webshop refresh at around 0:00 AM GMT, and directs players to “About Shop” for time-zone information. That approximate GMT reference is not a guarantee of an exact refresh time for every player; the Shop’s displayed time is the more useful guide. See Epic’s Item Shop refresh FAQ.
What does an item’s exit date mean?
Epic said planned dates for individual items to rotate out would appear on the item description page beginning in late May 2024. Treat that date as the listing’s planned exit, not a promise that the item will return after it leaves. Check the item page and live Shop for the current date because availability can change.

Will a Fortnite skin or cosmetic return?
An unavailable item may return, but Epic does not publish guaranteed return dates for named cosmetics. It says items can come back as individual listings or as part of a bundle, and advises players to check the Shop again. No rotation pattern or past appearance establishes when a specific item will next be available. See Epic’s item-return guidance.
Battle Pass cosmetics have a limited qualification
Epic says Battle Pass items released after August 7, 2024 may be available in the Shop at least 18 months after the relevant Pass expires. “May” matters: Epic does not guarantee that these items will be offered, and this guidance should not be applied to every older Battle Pass cosmetic.

How Fortnite bundles and their prices work
A bundle groups multiple cosmetics in one offer. The listing identifies its contents and may show both a discounted V-Bucks price and an original combined price. Those figures describe that listing, not a lasting price for the items. For example, an official Five Nights at Freddy’s Bundle listing showed 4,500 V-Bucks beside an original combined price of 11,000 V-Bucks; it is a dated example, not a current offer or price recommendation.
If you already own items in a bundle
Epic says the remaining bundle price shown to you may be reduced by the cost of cosmetics you already own. The price is account-specific: check your own listing rather than assuming another player sees the same amount. Buying remaining cosmetics individually does not necessarily give you the bundle discount. What to compare before buying
- Confirm the bundle’s included cosmetics in the current listing.
- Check the price shown on your account, especially if you own some included items.
- Compare individual-item prices only if they are listed, and do not assume separate purchases receive the bundle discount.
- Review the planned exit date on the item description page if shown.
Can you cancel or return a Fortnite cosmetic purchase?
Cancel an eligible V-Bucks purchase promptly
Epic says an in-game cosmetic purchase made with V-Bucks can be canceled until you equip or use the item during gameplay, or until 24 hours have passed, whichever happens first. Canceling removes the content and returns the V-Bucks. See Epic’s cancellation and return guidance.
Use a Return Ticket when cancellation is no longer available
An eligible cosmetic purchase from the previous 30 days may be returned with a Return Ticket. Epic says accounts start with three tickets, can hold no more than three, and receive a new ticket 365 days after the most recent ticket was added. Returning a bundle returns the bundle purchase; it does not refund just the component you already owned.
Direct-money purchases follow a different route
Items bought directly with money are not eligible for Fortnite’s in-game Cancel Purchase or Return Ticket options. Epic says a refund may instead be available through the platform where you made the purchase. See Epic’s guidance for real-money purchases.
