The directions below cover the locations for which the available guides provide usable cues; some of the 35 still lack precise, verified route instructions.

The breakdown below is reported by Hervé Atangana’s Jeux.ca guide, updated October 2, 2026. Its chapter 2 list gives broad location cues rather than a complete turn-by-turn route. Jeux.ca’s guide

- COG Helmet With Bullet Hole: At the start of Act 2, follow the street to its end. Turn left and go behind the ruined bus.
- Sniper Goggles: After fighting across the bridge, enter the first control room. Search the left side at the far end, near a dead Locust.
- Bridge Worker’s Lunch Kit: Just before the control room, descend the ladder to the gantry under the bridge. Turn left instead of continuing ahead and check by the police-line barriers.
- Thrashball RUSH Magazine: In the East Control Room, look for a small metal caddy at the end opposite the entrance. Milk and coffee are beside it.
- Medic’s First Aid Kit: After the final bridge fight, reach the lower level and look left, behind the station wagon and in front of the COG truck.
Chapter 2: “Hold the Line” — search by district
This semi-open section accounts for 27 of Act 2’s reported 35 collectibles. Rather than sticking to the main mission route, check side objectives and nearby buildings before moving on. In its current guide, FPSHUB supplies detailed directions for 15 chapter 2 items and marks the page as a work in progress; the remaining named items below have only brief landmark cues in Jeux.ca’s guide.
Locations with detailed directions
- Cinema Filmatica Magazine: Shortly after leaving camp, enter Iron Coast Motors through the main entrance. Before starting its side objective, go left into the back room, then turn right toward the counter.
- A Letter Home: During the Trapped Family side objective near the Last Dollar store, clear the enemies and open the garage. Go through it, then turn right at the corridor.
- Thrashies Cereal Box: After helping the Gears in Timgad Prime, enter and check the counter on your left.
- Kalona Postcard: As you leave the station, turn right down the steps. Pass the pawnbroker and continue into the plaza; check beneath the far side of a stone bench.
- Foreman’s Datapad: Enter the construction site southwest of the station exit. In the main room, go to the back-left side (assuming you entered from the east), turn right into the alcove, and search near the foreman’s body.
- Vandalized Salvaging Poster: Check the restroom inside Major Burger.
- Emgazi Blitz Display Case: In the northeastern apartment building where a Locust fires from a window, reach the third floor. Clear the Drone in the open apartment and check the bedroom desk.
- COG Tags of Private Liz Waxman: In that same building, return to the second floor and jump through the window onto the scaffolding. Look left by Waxman’s body.
- Birthday Card With Toy Lancer: Near the Bank of Tyrus and collapsed bridge, drop down to the walkway and check beside a bench on its eastern side.
- Timgad Refinery Recruitment Poster: Cross the east bridge and enter the building adjoining the large hotel sign. The poster is on the right wall by the elevator.
- Tales From the Tyran Night Story Book: Find the apartment with a “help” sign near the map’s middle. Reach it using the exterior scaffolding; the book is on a table in the main room to the left.
- COG Tags of Specialist Jada Clemmons: Look behind the counter inside Grind Coffee.
- Kalona Metro Fare Notice: Descend into the metro south of Grind Coffee. Take the notice from the wall opposite the turnstiles.
- COG Tags of Master Sergeant Mark Avamor: Search the loading bay south of the Bank of Tyrus; watch for a Locust sniper above.
- Re: Vibration Complaints: In the Warehouse District, enter the building with the “live music” sign, opposite Amberstone Storage Company. The note hangs on a door.
Other chapter 2 items in the broader list
Jeux.ca names 12 further chapter 2 collectibles and places them near mission landmarks, but its cues are too brief to turn into reliable turn-by-turn directions. Use the names as a checklist, then confirm the prompt and item in-game rather than treating these broad areas as exact locations.

The following locations are reported by Jeux.ca’s brief list. Unlike the chapter 1 walkthrough and the detailed chapter 2 entries above, these cues are not backed by fuller route instructions in the sources cited here.
- Chapter 3, “No Gear Left Behind” — COG Tags of Sal Harkniss and COG Tags of Siv Strickland: Both are reported at the same location just after a cutscene.
- Chapter 4, “The Pilots”: No collectibles are reported.
- Chapter 5, “Overwhelmed” — Point Fairlight Hangar Datapad: Search the hangar on the left before continuing the mission.
Use the game’s tracking cues to check your route
Jeux.ca reports that nearby collectibles can trigger a familiar COG sound, brief controller vibration, and visual alert. In chapter 2, its guide says the map displays a collectible marker after you approach one. The War Journal tracks progress by act, so check it as you clear an area rather than relying on memory alone.

Jeux.ca also says missed collectibles can be recovered by replaying a chapter and are not permanently missable. That replay guidance is reported by the guide, not established by the campaign achievement description.

Not by itself, according to Xbox Wire’s campaign achievement list. The “Memories From E-Day” achievement condition is to “Find all Collectibles in the Campaign (any difficulty),” so completing Act 2’s collectibles contributes to a campaign-wide requirement.
