AYANEO’s AG01 Starship Graphics Dock is an external GPU dock built around an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT—not a standalone handheld. It connects to compatible PCs and Windows handhelds through OCuLink or USB4, and adds multiple display outputs, Ethernet, an SD card slot and an optional M.2 SSD slot. AYANEO introduced it in May 2024; its documented direct launch price was $599, but that historical price is not a current quote.
What is the AYANEO AG01 Starship Graphics Dock?
The AG01 is an external graphics dock intended to give a compatible computer or handheld a discrete Radeon GPU and desktop-style connectivity. Its enclosure takes design cues from classic space exploration. AYANEO’s May 18, 2024 announcement called it the company’s first graphics dock and highlighted its cooling and sci-fi styling: AYANEO’s official product announcement.
The dock’s defining component is AMD’s Radeon RX 7600M XT, a mobile GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. It requires a separate host device; it is not a portable PC or a self-contained gaming system.
What GPU and connections does it have?

AYANEO’s specification table lists 32 execution units, a maximum frequency of 2300MHz and 8GB of GDDR6 for the Radeon RX 7600M XT. Hermitage Akihabara’s October 25, 2024 press release reports a Turbo Knob that switches the GPU’s TGP between 100W and 120W, along with a 330W GaN power adapter: Hermitage Akihabara’s press release. These specifications do not establish real-world frame rates; no independent benchmark results are available in the cited coverage.

Host connection
The AG01 supports OCuLink and USB4. AYANEO Japan describes one-cable connection for PCs with Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 or 40Gbps USB4, while the global specification table lists OCuLink and USB4 among the interfaces: AYANEO Japan’s product page and AYANEO’s global preorder page. Check the exact port and protocol on your handheld or PC before buying: a USB-C-shaped connector alone does not confirm USB4 compatibility, and OCuLink requires a matching host connection.

The listed output resolutions are specifications, not a promise that every connected display can run at its maximum resolution and refresh rate simultaneously. Actual support depends on the host, connection and display setup.
Size, battery and charging
AYANEO lists the AG01 at 24.0 × 11.8 × 5.1cm and 960g. Its May 2024 announcement also describes a 12,000mAh high-density lithium battery, dual USB-C ports with simultaneous output and 45W PD fast charging. Those battery and charging features are separate from the GPU’s graphics function; the announcement does not give a runtime figure.

How much does the AG01 cost, and is it available?
Hermitage Akihabara reported a direct price of $599 when reservations opened on October 25, 2024, with shipping then planned for late November 2024. Treat that as a historical launch price and schedule, not a current offer. AYANEO later published a global preorder page dated May 13, 2025; consult its live listing for current regional pricing and purchasing status.
AYANEO Japan’s product page currently displays “sold out.” That is the status of the Japan page, not evidence that the dock is unavailable worldwide. Stock and price can vary by region and date.

What to check before choosing it
- Confirm your host has a supported OCuLink or USB4 connection; for USB4, verify the 40Gbps capability rather than relying on the connector shape.
- Check whether the RX 7600M XT and its 8GB VRAM suit the games and workloads you intend to run. The cited sources do not provide independent performance tests.
- Plan for an M.2 2280 SSD purchase if you want to use the internal slot; it is not included.
- Verify the current price, stock, included accessories and applicable warranty with the seller for your region. The cited launch coverage mentions a 330W adapter, but does not establish a complete current package listing.
