Minecraft Dungeons II and its Deluxe Edition occupy the first two places on Nintendo Everything’s reported Nintendo Switch eShop All Games chart for October 3, 2026. Minecraft is third. That is a top-two showing on the report’s All Games list—not a sweep of every chart: Pokémon FireRed leads the separate Download-Only Games list.
What is number one on the Switch eShop chart?
In its October 3, 2026 report, Nintendo Everything lists Minecraft Dungeons II at No. 1 and Minecraft Dungeons II Deluxe Edition at No. 2 on its All Games chart. Minecraft is No. 3.

Why “sweeps” needs a qualification
The report has a separate Download-Only Games chart. Its No. 1 is Pokémon FireRed; at No. 15 it lists the original Minecraft Dungeons, not Minecraft Dungeons II. The sequel’s first- and second-place positions apply to the reported All Games chart, so the headline’s “sweeps” should not be taken to mean it led both lists.
Is Minecraft Dungeons II out on Switch?
Yes. Nintendo of America’s US store listing gives Minecraft Dungeons II a September 29, 2026 release date for Nintendo Switch and names Mojang as developer. Minecraft’s official launch notice says the game is available on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2; its game page describes it as the sequel to Minecraft Dungeons and also uses the name “Minecraft Dungeons 2.”

Digital and packaged release timing
Digital availability and packaged-release dates are not interchangeable. Nintendo Japan’s September 29 notice says the game became available digitally on Switch and Switch 2, while giving separate dates for Japanese packaged editions:
| Japanese packaged edition | Scheduled date |
|---|---|
| Nintendo Switch 2 | September 30, 2026 |
| Nintendo Switch | November 10, 2026 |
Those packaged dates are specific to Nintendo Japan’s notice; they should not be assumed to apply to other markets. Check the relevant regional store or retailer for local availability.

Switch, Switch 2, and editions
The official launch information confirms availability on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The US Nintendo store listing is specifically for the Switch version. Nintendo’s listed release date and features on that page should not be treated as a performance comparison between consoles.
The US Switch listing displays a Soul Pack DLC item. Nintendo also has a Deluxe Edition listing that describes cosmetics and DLC 1 and 2 when released. The reviewed listing information does not establish a complete price or contents comparison, and package availability can vary by region. Check the intended regional store page to confirm what an edition includes before buying.

What online play requires
Nintendo’s US Switch listing describes online co-op and play together on one console as supported features. For online play, it says a Nintendo Account and a separately sold Nintendo Switch Online membership are required; internet access is required for online features. Nintendo also notes that online access may not be available in every country. Check the store listing for your region for current terms.
