Why are fans ready for another Uncharted?

The franchise’s past comments leave the door open without promising a return. GameSpot’s roundup recalls that Escayg said “never say never” in 2022, and that Druckmann suggested an outside developer could potentially make a future entry with Naughty Dog helping preserve the series’ essence.
