NVIDIA says its 64GB DGX Spark will become available from Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI on October 23, 2026, with prices starting at $4,999. The 128GB version does not universally cost more than $6,000: NVIDIA’s own marketplace listed its DGX Spark at $4,699, while selected partner systems were listed between $5,999 and $7,999. Those marketplace listings were marked out of stock when captured, so treat them as snapshots rather than live offers.
DGX Spark 64GB: release date and starting price
NVIDIA announced the 64GB configuration on October 2, 2026. The company says it will be available Friday, October 23, from Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI, starting at $4,999. That is a starting price, not a confirmed price for every manufacturer’s model. NVIDIA’s announcement does not specify each partner’s SKU, storage configuration, final price or live stock status. How the 64GB and 128GB systems compare
| System or listing | Memory | Listed price | Availability and configuration details |
|---|---|---|---|
| NVIDIA DGX Spark 64GB | 64GB | Starting at $4,999, per NVIDIA’s October 2, 2026 announcement | Announced for October 23, 2026, from Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI. Individual SKUs, storage configurations, prices and stock were not stated in the announcement. Source |
| NVIDIA DGX Spark 128GB | 128GB | $4,699 on NVIDIA’s US marketplace listing | The listing specified 4TB NVMe storage and was marked out of stock when captured. Source |
| ASUS Ascent GX10, 1TB | 128GB | $5,999 on NVIDIA’s US catalog | Listed as a GB10 system and marked out of stock when captured. Source |
| ASUS Ascent GX10, 4TB | 128GB | $7,999 on NVIDIA’s US catalog | Listed as a GB10 system and marked out of stock when captured. Source |
| MSI EdgeXpert 13SUS | 128GB | $5,999.99 on NVIDIA’s US catalog | Listed as a GB10 system and marked out of stock when captured. Source |
The examples show why “the 128GB Spark costs more than $6,000” is too broad. NVIDIA’s own 128GB DGX Spark listing was below that threshold, while some partner configurations were above it and others were just below. These are distinct products and storage configurations, and the captured listings do not establish current availability or a single market-wide price.
What changes with the 64GB configuration
The announced difference is memory capacity: the new configuration has 64GB, compared with 128GB in NVIDIA’s original DGX Spark marketplace listing. NVIDIA says the 64GB model retains the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, DGX OS and NVIDIA AI software stack. Its October 2 announcement positions the system for local AI agents and applications, but those are vendor use-case claims rather than independent performance findings. NVIDIA’s announcement

For historical context, NVIDIA’s October 13, 2025 launch announcement described the original 128GB DGX Spark as a compact desktop system with up to one petaflop of AI performance. That is NVIDIA’s stated specification and positioning, not an independent benchmark. NVIDIA’s 2025 announcement

NVIDIA says two 64GB systems can connect over a 200 GbE fabric and pool memory to 128GB using Sync Cluster Assistant. This is an announced scaling option, not evidence that the pair will behave exactly like one 128GB device for every application or workload. NVIDIA’s announcement does not provide independent testing of that setup. NVIDIA’s announcement

What buyers should check before choosing a model
- Compare the exact system: Distinguish NVIDIA’s DGX Spark from partner systems such as ASUS Ascent GX10 and MSI EdgeXpert; do not assume they share a price because they are listed as 128GB GB10 systems.
- Check storage and final SKU pricing: The listed ASUS configurations, for example, pair different storage capacities with different prices. NVIDIA’s 64GB announcement gives only a starting price, not each OEM’s final configuration and price.
- Verify current stock and price: The NVIDIA marketplace listings cited above were marked out of stock when captured. The figures are time-sensitive and do not confirm availability on October 23 or afterward.
- Match capacity to the workload: The 64GB and 128GB configurations differ in memory capacity. NVIDIA’s two-system pooling claim may matter to some workloads, but should not be treated as a universal substitute for a single 128GB system.
