Kai Cenat said during a September 30, 2026 livestream that he would sue streamer Reggie over allegations involving Cenat and RaKai. But reporting through October 2 did not confirm that a lawsuit had been filed. Reggie had announced he was leaving the Clover Boys; no report reviewed confirmed that the group had formally disbanded. Its future is uncertain, not settled.
What happened between Kai Cenat and Reggie?
The dispute unfolded across several days, moving from Reggie’s departure from the group to serious public allegations and Cenat’s response. Those allegations remain claims, not established findings.
- September 26: NDTV reported that Reggie posted an emotional explanation for leaving the Clover Boys, saying he felt left out.
- September 27: Reggie discussed an allegation of childhood abuse by his brother and separately alleged that someone had taken advantage of RaKai and that Cenat knew about it. These were Reggie’s allegations, not verified findings.
- September 29: RaKai posted on X denying the earlier allegation concerning his childhood.
- September 30: Reggie made further allegations in an Instagram livestream titled “Truth” and a YouTube video. Cenat responded on Twitch, denied the allegations, demanded evidence, urged Reggie to take any evidence to police, and said he would sue.
- October 1–2: NDTV and TheGrio reported no confirmed lawsuit filing as of October 1. On October 2, NDTV reported Cenat’s claims about spending on the group and Reggie’s security.
Did Kai Cenat actually file a lawsuit?
No filing was confirmed in the reporting available through October 2, 2026. Cenat announced his intention to sue during a livestream; that statement is not the same as a filed case. NDTV reported on October 1 that no lawsuit had been filed and that its coverage had not established that either man contacted police. TheGrio likewise reported no filed lawsuit and no related criminal case announced by that date. These are dated reporting updates, not an independent court-docket search.
NDTV quoted Cenat challenging Reggie: “Where is your proof? Where is your proof, bro?” Cenat also said: “Tomorrow, when you wake up, call the cops. Call the cops and show them the evidence. Because guess what? I’m calling the cops. Yeah, I’m suing you, brother.” Those remarks show what Cenat said on the stream; they do not establish a legal filing or resolve the allegations. NDTV’s timeline of the dispute and Dexerto’s report on the lawsuit threat both describe an announced intention rather than a confirmed case.

What has RaKai said?
In a September 29 X post, RaKai denied the earlier allegation about his childhood, saying: “I never got touched in any way growing up and not by my family or my friends.” He added: “I already get enough hate and controversy as it is to now have this on my back. Please don’t believe everything you read on the internet.” NDTV reported that RaKai had not addressed the newer September 30 allegation about Cenat by the time of its October 1 article. His denial of the earlier claim should not be read as a response to every later allegation. NDTV’s report reproduces his post.
Is this the end of the Clover Boys?
That has not been established. Reggie said he was leaving, and the public dispute marks a significant fracture, but the coverage reviewed did not confirm a formal dissolution or establish that every member had ended their collaborations. It is accurate to say the group’s future is uncertain—not that the Clover Boys are definitively over.

What did Cenat claim he spent on the group?
NDTV reported on October 2 that Cenat claimed he had invested $3.7 million in the Clover Boys and paid $30,000 per month for Reggie’s security. Those are Cenat’s claims, not independently verified figures. NDTV said Cenat presented a spending sheet, but some expense names were not visible; the total was not independently audited. NDTV’s October 2 report details what he said.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What is confirmed—and what remains unresolved?
- Confirmed as reported: Reggie said he was leaving the group; Cenat denied Reggie’s allegations and said he would sue; RaKai denied the earlier allegation concerning his childhood.
- Not established in the coverage through October 2: a lawsuit filing, a formal breakup of the Clover Boys, or proof substantiating the allegations.
NDTV’s October 1 account said no proof had been produced in the coverage it reviewed, while TheGrio described the claims as unverified. Because the allegations concern sexual abuse and grooming, they should be understood as attributed, unverified claims—not findings of fact. TheGrio’s October 1 report provides additional coverage of Cenat’s response.
