Kofyr was reportedly banned from Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) tournaments and other Psyonix-affiliated competitions through the end of 2027. Psyonix’s stated reason, as quoted by Esports.gg, was a violation of code of conduct section 7.1.3. The reported ruling does not spell out the underlying conduct, so allegations described in esports coverage should not be treated as details confirmed by Psyonix.
What the reported ban covers
Esports.gg quotes Psyonix as saying Kofyr was barred from “Rocket League Championship Series tournaments and all additional Psyonix-affiliated competitions until the end of 2027” for violating section 7.1.3 of its code of conduct. Sheep Esports also reported the ruling, dating it to September 30, 2026. The original Psyonix post was not directly available in the source material, so the wording and scope here are attributed to those outlets.
The reported sanction concerns eligibility for competitions. It does not establish that Kofyr was banned from playing Rocket League generally or that his game account was suspended.
What coverage says happened
Sheep Esports described public discussion after the 2026 RLCS World Championship and reported allegations concerning behavior at an event after-party. Those are accounts reported by the outlet; the concise ruling quoted by Esports.gg does not describe the incident or make those allegations explicit findings. The available reporting also does not establish every event or private interaction surrounding the case.

What is known about Kofyr’s apology
Sheep Esports reported that Kofyr apologized on September 28, 2026, saying, “I want to sincerely apologize for making anyone uncomfortable with my behavior.” The outlet also reported that he said he had contacted people directly and planned to seek professional help. That verifies what was reported about his statement, not whether he later completed those actions.
What section 7.1.3 means—and what remains unclear
The ruling report names code of conduct section 7.1.3, but the exact text of the contemporaneous RLCS rulebook provision was not available in the material reviewed. Rocket League’s general Code of Conduct is not a substitute for that competition rule. It says Epic Community Rules apply in Rocket League and describes possible consequences for in-game conduct; it does not establish the meaning of RLCS section 7.1.3 or explain this competitive ruling.

Competition bans are different from game-account bans
Epic’s Rocket League account-ban guidance and harassment-ban guidance describe a separate enforcement system for accounts and in-game behavior. Those policies do not show that Kofyr’s account was affected by this esports ruling.
For players seeking general reporting guidance, Rocket League’s June 11, 2020 community message said inappropriate online behavior could be reported with the in-game Report Player button and that players would be notified after review and action. That general process is not evidence about how this case was investigated.
