His reason was her unnerving stillness and stare—not an objective measure of which monster is scariest.
Why Miss Delight unsettled a player more than Huggy Wuggy
Livingston’s October 1, 2026 report describes Miss Delight as a pursuing enemy whose approaching heels offer an audio warning. In his account of a beta session, she could be stopped by shining an in-game flashlight at her. What made her scarier for him was the contrast between the threat approaching and her motionless stare.
That reaction is personal, not a definitive ranking of the game’s monsters. The report also describes toy robots that charge and explode when they detect a player, and Cat Bee, which latches on and poisons one. Teammates can help by throwing objects at certain enemies. What Escape from Playtime is
Escape from Playtime is an online co-op horror game from developer and publisher Mob Entertainment, set in the Poppy Playtime universe. Steam describes its setting as an abandoned toy factory and the game as a co-op survival horror experience. In PC Gamer’s beta-session account, players take the form of small Playtime toys, collect supplies, and progress through shifts.

The beta and planned Early Access release are different
PC Gamer reported that an open beta was scheduled to end at 6 p.m. PT on Sunday, October 4, 2026. That was a dated playtest window, not a claim that the beta remains available. The report said the beta supported up to eight players and recommended groups of at least four.
Steam’s listing, accessed October 3, 2026, instead described the planned game as playable solo or with one to three friends. That is the storefront’s listed configuration, not the beta player count. Steam gave October 21, 2026 as the planned Early Access date; the date is subject to change. Check the official Steam listing for current availability and details.

Mob says the beta build was unfinished
PC Gamer quoted Mob Entertainment describing the test as feedback-seeking rather than a finished version: “We want to emphasize that this is very much a playtest looking for your feedback,” the developer said. The company also warned that the build included work-in-progress elements, experimental features and balance, and features that were still locked away. Steam likewise describes Early Access as unfinished and subject to change.
Mob’s Steam Early Access FAQ says: “We plan to raise the price at 1.0 release, once significant content has been added.” That is the developer’s stated plan, not a guarantee of a particular price or release date.
