Lost Boys Interactive developed concept or prototype pitches for two licensed games: a squad-based tactical Warhammer 40,000 shooter and an open-world colony simulator set in The Walking Dead universe. Neither is established as a released or fully greenlit game. Former creative director Peter Andreoli’s portfolio labels the Warhammer work “NDA · Concept Only” and the Walking Dead work “NDA · Concept & Prototype Only.”
What were the Lost Boys Interactive Warhammer 40K and Walking Dead games?
They were licensed pitches, not announced retail games. An October 1, 2026 report from MP1st describes concept art, 3D assets and a short prototype segment that surfaced through former employees’ portfolios. Andreoli’s portfolio independently confirms his creative leadership on both properties and gives their development stages; it does not corroborate every gameplay detail in the report. Andreoli’s portfolio
| Pitch | Reported format | Evidence of stage |
|---|---|---|
| Warhammer 40,000 | Squad-based tactical first-person shooter with cover combat | Andreoli lists it as “NDA · Concept Only.” |
| The Walking Dead | Open-world colony simulator with survival and stealth systems | Andreoli lists it as “NDA · Concept & Prototype Only.” |
What was in the Warhammer 40,000 pitch?
MP1st describes a tactical FPS concept made in Unreal Engine 5, built around squad combat and cover. Reported pitch-demo assets include a cybernetically augmented Techmarine, a Chainsword, Boltgun and Plasma Gun, along with grenades and ammunition pickups. Some of the renders reportedly use a first-person camera perspective.
Andreoli’s portfolio confirms that he led creative on an original Warhammer 40,000 pitch, describing his contribution in terms of tone, combat framing and world presentation. The portfolio does not independently confirm the engine, weapons or squad-system details reported by MP1st.

What was in The Walking Dead colony-sim pitch?
MP1st reports that Lost Boys developed the concept with Skybound Entertainment. The proposed game combined open-world survival and stealth with colony and settlement management. Reported systems included crafting items and AI dialogue designed to let companions respond to branching player choices.
The surfaced concept art reportedly showed survivor bases from an isometric, top-down perspective: a mill complex, a roadside diner and a mobile RV convoy camp. The material depicts settlements becoming fortified and accumulating scavenged resources over time. A brief prototype segment reportedly switches to a closer third-person view and includes a barricade-building mission, hostile guards and objectives to rescue survivors named Cassidy and Tristan.

Andreoli’s portfolio marks his Lost Boys Creative Director tenure as 2023–2024 and both pitches as complete. MP1st estimates that work on the concepts ran from 2023 into early 2024, based on former employees’ timelines, and connects their apparent halt to Lost Boys Interactive layoffs in January 2024. That timing and connection are the report’s inference, not an official project timeline.
