En PC, puedes volver a una versión anterior de The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt desde Steam o GOG Galaxy: elige la rama CLASSIC en Steam o el canal Clásico en GOG Galaxy. Epic Games Store no ofrece esa opción. Estos pasos proceden de la guía de soporte de CD PROJEKT RED, consultada el 3 de octubre de 2026.
Qué permite cada tienda

CD PROJEKT RED no especifica qué número de versión corresponde a las ramas CLASSIC o Clásico. Por eso, sigue el nombre de la opción en tu cliente en vez de asumir que equivale a una versión numerada concreta.
Volver atrás en Steam
- Abre la Biblioteca de Steam.
- Haz clic derecho en The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt y selecciona Propiedades.
- Abre la sección Betas y elige CLASSIC. Steam descargará y actualizará el juego automáticamente.
Para volver a la opción más reciente, repite los pasos y selecciona Ninguna en Betas.
Volver atrás en GOG Galaxy
- Abre la sección Instalado.
- Selecciona The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt y ve a Gestionar instalación → Configurar.
- En Canales beta, elige Clásico.
- Desactiva las actualizaciones automáticas, selecciona la versión que prefieras y confirma.
Para regresar a la opción más reciente, vuelve a Canales beta y selecciona Desactivado.

La guía de soporte de CD PROJEKT RED indica que Epic Games Store no permite instalar una versión anterior de The Witcher 3; solo permite acceder a la versión más reciente disponible. Los pasos de Steam y GOG Galaxy no se aplican a Epic.

CD PROJEKT RED considera que la versión más reciente es la única plenamente compatible, porque incluye las últimas mejoras, correcciones y cambios.
