iFly’s official TestFlight page invites people to join its beta, but it does not confirm that new testers can enroll right now. The number of available spots is therefore unverified. Check the official iFly page and follow its TestFlight invitation to see whether Apple currently accepts testers and whether your device qualifies.
Is iFly accepting TestFlight testers right now?
The iFly beta landing page invites users to join and warns that seats may be limited, but its visible information does not establish that enrollment is currently open or disclose an available-seat count. Apple notes that a developer can disable a public TestFlight link after its tester limit is reached, and links may also have device or operating-system criteria. The invitation’s live status and any iFly-specific requirements must be checked directly.
Apple’s general TestFlight limits are not a measure of iFly’s capacity: external beta programs can invite up to 10,000 testers, and a tester can access builds on up to 30 devices. Those are platform-wide limits, not iFly’s tester count or current number of open spots. See Apple’s TestFlight documentation.
What is iFly, and how can you get it?
iFly is the Provenance team’s Dreamcast emulator for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Its About page says it is built on Flycast and optimized for Apple silicon with JIT-less operation. The project says iFly is not on the App Store; its homepage links both to a TestFlight beta and to sideloading options. See the About page and iFly homepage.

TestFlight
Use the official beta invitation to check whether the build is available to you. TestFlight access depends on the invitation’s live status and any criteria set by the developer. The beta page’s existence alone does not mean enrollment is open.
Sideloading
Sideloading is a separate route from joining through TestFlight. iFly’s downloads page describes AltStore/SideStore and manual installation, while its listed build section currently says there are no iOS or tvOS builds available there. That statement about listed builds does not confirm the TestFlight link’s status. The downloads page also cautions that beta builds may contain bugs and recommends the latest non-beta release for stability.

Which devices and operating systems does iFly support?
According to the iFly support page, the minimums are iOS 15.6 or later for iPhone and iPad, and tvOS 16.6 or later for Apple TV. The support page recommends newer devices for optimal performance. These are iFly’s stated platform requirements; a particular TestFlight invitation may set additional criteria.
Do you need to provide Dreamcast games or a BIOS?
Yes. iFly does not include Dreamcast game files or a BIOS. Its support page says users supply their own game files, lists CHD, CDI, and GDI formats, and notes that some titles may need a Dreamcast BIOS. It describes importing files over Wi-Fi or through the Files app. Use only game files and BIOS files you are legally entitled to use.

Can you play with touch controls or a controller?
Touch controls are available on iPhone and iPad, so a physical controller is optional. iFly lists support for MFi controllers, PlayStation DualShock 4 and DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controllers, and—on its About page—Switch controllers. A compatible Bluetooth gamepad is an option if you prefer physical controls; no particular model is established as tested or endorsed. Details are on the support page and About page.
