The Aston Martin DBX GT is a new, refinement-focused version of the DBX, revealed on 1 October 2026. It keeps the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8’s 727 PS (535 kW) and 900 Nm output, but adds changes to seating, sound insulation, ride tuning and exhaust character. Aston Martin says first deliveries are scheduled for Q4 2026; its announcement gives no price or market-specific order dates.
What is the Aston Martin DBX GT?
The DBX GT is a new DBX variant aimed at buyers who want performance with a greater emphasis on cabin comfort and refinement. Aston Martin positions it as the more discreet, daily-use choice alongside the more overtly sporting DBX S. The two share the headline engine output, but the GT’s distinguishing features are its comfort, noise-isolation and chassis changes.
The company describes the GT as a more elegant and luxurious interpretation of the performance SUV. That is Aston Martin’s intended character for the model, not an independent assessment of how it compares on the road.
How much power does the DBX GT have?
Aston Martin specifies a bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 727 PS and 900 Nm, paired with a nine-speed wet-clutch automatic. The manufacturer says the transmission calibration has been refined for more consistent, smoother shifts.

The 535 kW figure is the conversion shown on Aston Martin’s DBX S specification page for 727 PS; the DBX GT announcement itself states 727 PS. Aston Martin has not published a GT-specific acceleration or top-speed figure in the announcement, so DBX S performance figures should not be treated as GT results.

The DBX S remains the clearer fit for a buyer prioritising the more sporting presentation. The GT’s case is its attempt to retain the same quoted power and torque while making the cabin and driving experience more composed.

What has Aston Martin changed to improve comfort and quietness?
Cabin materials and sound isolation
Aston Martin reports a 13% improvement in Articulation Index, which it describes as a measure of how easy it is to hold a conversation while a vehicle is moving. This is a manufacturer-reported result; the announcement provides no independent verification or decibel comparison against the DBX S.
The listed cabin and body changes include revised seat forms and cushioning, acoustic laminated rear side glass, deep-pile carpets, improved cabin sealing and additional sound-deadening material in the doors, wheel-arch areas and load space. Aston Martin also cites body-structure work as part of its effort to reduce noise entering the cabin.

Ride and chassis
The GT receives chassis and suspension revisions intended to improve compliance, particularly at low speeds and over larger suspension movements. Aston Martin identifies a new transmission-mount bush and two longitudinal dampers, alongside revised wheel-and-tyre packages and chassis calibration. These are manufacturer-described aims; the launch announcement does not include independent ride testing.
Exhaust character
A dedicated rear-muffler gas-flow tune is intended to reduce harsh metallic frequencies. Aston Martin says GT mode is tuned for more discreet progress, while Sport and Sport+ bring back a louder exhaust character.

What wheels and tyres come on the DBX GT?
The standard package pairs a new 22-inch forged wheel with Pirelli Scorpion Zero All-Season tyres. Buyers can specify a 23-inch package with either Pirelli P-Zero Summer or Scorpion Zero All-Season tyres. The announcement does not give exact tyre sizes or confirm fitment availability for every market, so those details should be checked against the vehicle’s final specification.
What does the DBX GT look like?
GT-specific exterior details include a double-vaned grille, a two-piece metal side strake, body-colour lower trim, and horizontally arranged quad exhaust finishers. Aston Martin’s design brief is deliberately more discreet than the DBX S’s sporting emphasis, while retaining the visual presence of the DBX range.

When does the DBX GT go on sale, and how much will it cost?
Aston Martin says first deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q4 2026. Its 1 October 2026 announcement does not state a price, market-by-market launch dates, or order details. The delivery window is therefore the available timing guidance, rather than confirmation of when customers in a particular country can place an order.
